I think it depends on your plan.
Do you have unlimited data?
If not I believe using a wi-fi connection shouldn't effect the limited data usage you have.
- So if you're connected to the internet in your house. It's just like a laptop internet wise, and wouldn't effect your cell phone bill.
Any pre installed apps are free, if they are a demo it'll always ask if you want to buy the full version.
Yes using chrome is free, but again this depends on your internet. (connected to a wi-fi, or your phone is using 2-4g? not sure what that's called.)
No, not all apps require internet connection to use. You'll need the internet to install apps, but not all of them use it. Most would say if it does, and you can even set those to only be used if only connected to wi-fi.
Ok so the difference between youtube the website and the app. Well IMO the app is better on a phone. With the app you can still listen to a song, and search for something else. It's faster ... idk it's hard to explain.
In a sense apps are shorten more simplified versions of websites, so instead of loading a whole page it only loads the important stuff?
So I took some screenshots to better explain what I meant ...
Website website 2App,
app while searching something elseIt just loads slightly faster if you use the app.
As it seems like you have an android phone. One thing that I like from them app store wise is that you don't have to put in your credit card info. (With apple products you do) so if you run into an app that cost money, it'll bring up a window for your info, then you think "Oh it's not free, oops" and hit cancel. (Although you could always set a password for the apple product, I'd rather not put in my credit card info in the first place).
I hope these answers help.
