Description
Private detective Ryuunosuke's powerful body holds a generous spirit. Although he's perpetually broke because he keeps doing jobs for free, his tender heart is also what brought him together with his lover. Like one of the stray cats he's always picking up, Ryuunosuke rescued Shigure from the streets when he was homeless and starving. Shigure may talk tough when Ryuunosuke can’t pay the rent, but he wouldn't change his lover for the world.

Refreshing and Light-hearted

One of my favorite BL manga's, which seems to feature the theme of "couple already in love", which is a nice change. Not too many manga's make use of an established couple, in that they already -know- their feelings for one another and that fact doesn't change. Seeing the adventures and obstacles of two people already in love, more so in a slightly humorous, half serious detective story.
Plus, the artwork is just gorgeous; it has come a -very- long way in comparison to some of Kisaragi-sensei's first works. He created a light-hearted story, an original plot and a book that you wish had more then one volume. While first impressions of the summary may seem like this book would be "boring" and "cliche" - just giving it a try will find most people pleasently hooked.
The characters and story have a certain depth to them, made even better for its lack of angst filled drama, such as "do they love each other", or "will they get together?" and "the Seme/boyfriend is being a jerk, just say you love him already!".
Like I said, this story is very refreshing - I just wish it were longer.

"Die, just die" or "Die, shut up and die"... It's hilarious the way Shigure treats Ryuu, but in the end you just know he can't live on without him.
The action scenes are very well drawn, dramatic at times, fun at others and very ironic. Not enough hot bits, but that's because they're unlucky
Great art, great fun and great work!
Read it!

Such gorgeous eye candy! I can't think of anyone who draws better in the boy love world. The story is fun, nothing too serious. The couple is very cute. It doesn't exactly follow what the title suggests (detective agency) and I would love to have more backstory or another volume, but I enjoyed it as it is. Great read.
really cute~!

Agree with the previous comment, it is just so cute~! my fave from this author (BxB was too deep... sometimes i dont really understand, the innocent bird was ok, but kinda messy in places)
is the author a woman or man?
her/his doujinshi are great! i love Kabaji x Atobe becoz of her now.

This may not be a popular title (in comparison with innocent bird and BxB) but so far it's the one I like the most. The plot is funny, simple and straightforward. It totally skips the "introduction" (of how they met, how they confessed their love etc) , which is often clumsy and lengthy, and focuses on their normal life with numerous weird detective missions Normally a story would end when the main couple settled down, but for this series it's just the start point. Therefore on one hand it can keep you up and down with many emotional moments, on the other it makes you calm and secured, because their feeling is no longer "puppy love". This is, in short, no series for those looking for heart-breaking situations, but for those in need of something really simple and sweet
I really wish Kisaragi would continue this series, because my favorite couple - the older brother and his bodyguard - have gone nowhere...

i love this! the seme is soo frickin hot!!! so is his aniki. the uke is beautiful, kinda made me depressed that he was drawn prettier than me! lol. but the plot is soo sweet! i love ukes that have that cat-like personality. cold and aloof but really loving and sweet! and the dog-like semes are great too, especially when that personality is inside a hot body!

Holy shit, I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. Like I guess I was expecting it to be kind of darker or edgier, but this was waaaaaay better, ha ha. It was a very light-hearted and fluffy as fuck read! If you like fluff, you'll probably like this (I fucking love my fluff). Super fucking nice art with super cute characters and Shigure's and Ryuunosuke's relationship is a really nice breath of fresh air. You can totally tell that they're really into each other and super committed and aaaah it was just a really good read in my opinion.

Well this read was a drag. A little action here, a little romance there... all in all it was shallow. There was no suspense at all. Each chapter felt like watching an episode of a spanish soap opera. I should have listened to my intuition when I kept putting this manga off. The art was great though, therefore I had to adjust my rating accordingly.

The plot is ok. Not very complex at all.
The manga itself is pretty short afterall.
The characters are interesting. Not the typical uke and seme personality.
What really makes me give this a 9 is mainly the art. Ohhhh the ART is so good!!

I really liked that they started out as a couple. As much as I liked a good buildup, I also love starting in the middle of a relationship and continuing on. It gets more interesting. I only wish it was just a bit longer. Like, one more chapter or something
The uke is very, very feminine. I was almost of the opinion that he should've just been a girl (and still acted the same, though, because acting like a shoujo girl would be ANNOYING). They're an odd couple, for sure.
