I liked it at first but my problem with it was Sachi. She was just too perfect of a heroine. To me, I feel as though she didn't really grow at all. All her strong moments seemed really random and I didn't like it because it didn't really click with the way her character was. Like kichiX said, her personality was inconsistent throughout the series. It was an easy read. I'd recommend it if you're bored.

Sweet and fun ^^ I only got a little disappointed with the end. I sure wanted something more lovely-dovey. Still,it was a good ending.
Oh! And going through these 10 vols was a breeze. Pretty amazing for its length. Ah! And it reminded me of Hatori Bisco's work at times, which is probably a reason why I felt so at ease reading it.

I almost gave it a 7, but it convinced me somehow. The beginning and ending of the story is not that great in my opinion, but the middle of it is pretty good. I loved Takaya, a character that was not a lot in the series, but overall the rest of the characters were interesting and an overall good story as well. I can say I enjoyed it at least.

Don't be thrown off by the first 10 chapters, because it is worth the read. The protagonist, though weak at points, comes back fighting to the end. He is a bit dense, Ill admit, but has that sweet and protective side that is so irresistable Its worth picking up.

Is that there's nothing special about it. It's a generic shoujo manga with a Yakuza family, and it's also really disjointed, busy and inconsistent. For instance, right at the beginning every man in the family, Rakuto included, instantly falls at Sachie's feet, eager to please. She's a nice kid and all, but even though she's their ojou, I can't imagine it happening just like that. She never really does anything to earn it; she just kind of acts like a normal person, and they're all "Ojou! You're so amazing! Here, have our love!"
The great plus point of this manga is the unique setting, and it's just screaming out for chapters and chapters about how Sachie gets to grow into her place there, gets to know more people (aside from prerequisite love interest), her thoughts and emotions (other than being flustered over pretty boys), learning new things, looking from new perspectives, and earning the trust of the people around her. All that is just wasted on chapters and chapters of Rakuto saying sappy things, and she never gets used to any of it, either.
So overall, kind of a disappointment. I wouldn't have been quite so harsh, because it wasn't THAT bad, but like Kevadu said, it was just so promising! I kind of feel a little cheated somehow.

I liked the manga and I felt like it wasn't too slow. I guess the author pulled off a clueless female lead better than other authors I've read. I knew sometimes you just want to punch it into the characters' imaginary heads that they love each other. I felt like the author grew throughout it. I hated the beginning because it was so fast, but it gets a lot smoother as it goes along, the art gets better too.
The only problem I have with this manga is that I didn't really understand Azuma's story. It ended kind of. I'm not sure really. I got the gist of what he would eventually go on to do but there was a chapter that seemed like it was supposed to be a big climax for his story that I just didn't get. I really am not sure what the author was trying to get across to me.

Sachie and Rakuto make a cute couple, except that doesn't happen any time soon. In fact, this is an extremely slow romance. However, the story was still entertaining with no irritating side characters.
Awesomely cute story *.*

This was the first manga i've ever read, and what can I say? I simply love it, and I wished is continuation, but the story ends well, and that was what I wanted. I love the plot, those Yakusa guys that are really all butter hearts, the love than Rakuto has for Sachie, and the way Sachie's really dumb, really, she is the most dumb character of all time, always thinking Rakuto was being so nice to her only because he was her guardian xD but she has a really strong personality and that is really adorable ^^ I just love the fact that they were they first love. It's really a awesomely cute story

i like this story a lot. i dislike some aspects- Sachie's lack of book smarts, Rakuto's expression of feeling receding in the last chapters, Akuma's ending etc, etc
but the feelings come across well, i enjoy the heroine's personality and Rakuto's emotional growth descriptions i like the flow of the plot and nothing too redundant occurred.

While I was reading it, I couldn't put it down. Stepping back from it, however, I find it lacks a certain sparkle. The characters don't seem to be fully there. There just seems to be something lacking in their makeup. Having said that, I did find the main character's personality a nice change from the typical shoujo heroine, but it was inconsistant throughout the series.
Overall, I found this a refreshing manga, and one that I will read to the end. The characters are all nice, and it is comical in places. Sadly it just misses that magical element
