NO Romance

If the two characters were both girls, then the story would have had the same effect. It was cute, but definitely more of a story of friendship. Neither character ever acknowledged a feeling of love or even like, and certainly neither character expressed any physical attraction, which would make the difference between friendship and romance. It was simply a platonic friendship between a male and a female, which isn't bad, but I wouldn't have read it if I knew there was no romance, so it shouldn't b labeled as a romance. Labeling this as romance labels every male female relationship as romance which simply isn't true.

Overall i was happy with the story, I like this kind of art work and it was a good length for its story. For some reason, and i can't quite put my finger on why, but i didn't like the ending. Everything was great until the last 5 pages or so. I tend to like the romance slightly heavier but this was cute none the less. One thing that made me happy that they didn't do in this manga that they do in a lot of others is the female lead doesn't go "Why does my heart thump when i get near him? I don't understand this feeling." (Ugh, I hate when the girls do that, it make them seem so stupid). Anyways it only one book and worth the read if you're feeling in the mood for some light romance.

I found out about this story because I liked the artist's style of drawing; then I was curious about the plot.

When I started reading, I was curious, not smitten, but curious about this kind of setting and storyline. It's a light romance, and it reminded me of hope for my future and my own will. A sweet, inspiring story.

Cute, but not much there...

I liked the premise, but it was really underdeveloped, and the story just got more ridiculous rather than fleshed out. There were a lot of opportunities to take the story and characters somewhere interesting, but they were never used. It had nothing to do with length either: most of the time, I felt like nothing was actually happening. So what filled the pages then? Nothing, really. They moved some piles of books, drank tea, fought assassins for a page or two, tops, and back to books and tea. That being said, it was not objectionable. I'm not sorry I read it (although I could live a happy life without having done so). It was cute, and none of the characters were disagreeable, but unless there's nothing better to read, reading this probably isn't the best use of time.

I wouldn't say it made me flush ever so often but i just had to love this story, it was pure innocent love >.< i really loved the story. Although short, it doesn't rush through too much and the situation where one is forced to kill someone she loves was so heart rendering for me and i adored the last chapter to my heart <3

a short read that has such innocence ..
