Kazuki Orika, a 15-year-old girl, aspires to become a model like her beautiful mother, who passed away. Without the knowledge or consent of her father, Orika enters an amateur model competition, only to reunite with her childhood friend, Miyazaki Kanata, the cameraman, and make new friends with models Yano Mito, Yano Haruto, Kunimi Riko, and many others. But modeling isn't all fun and games. Will Orika be able to make it big?

Everyone looks the same with huge eyes!! I mean, I a big fan of shoujo, but it's to sweet and sugary!!
It's a normal typical shoujo, something you read when your bored or waiting for your next class to start. It's something that will leave you with a warm feeling afterword, but nothing more and nothing less than that.
It's a fun short read, but the art will turn most people off......

To Haters of this Manga,
Yep. Everything you've said is right. It's a typical,not-so-special manga but hey, at least the mangaka tried her best to do this manga. Well if the mangaka is not appreciated, then I suggest you don't try to read anymore from this mangaka because I'm afraid that you will find it ' Ugh! so typical!' and 'it's not that special' . So that's just a advice but as for me, I loved this manga literally ! <3

The adults look the same as the kids but with wrinkles. Orika is a typical goody-goody, happy-happy, naive girl who gets her job & stuff because of her "good attitude" and "wonderful" speeches. Typical. After all the mangas I've read, I'm starting to get extremely sick by these types of annoying characters
the art is ok.. nothing too special..
but as for the story.. I though it is a very cool one...

At first i thought it was going to be great, the story I mean even though the art sucks like how she drew the girls eyes so big n looks really bad, also doesn't even know how to draw some1 old really immature drawing, then the story started to shake like how the girl stupidly kept on smiling n doing the same pose over n over again. Well, first of all the model don't always smile and second of all they don't choose the models because of the great smile or whatever @#%$. If u wanna read some model or fashion kindda material with a real story then read "The one" it's so much better!

So far, the story is very typical - girl has famous mother model, mother now dead, girl decides to be model, girl has lots of opposition, girl overcomes it all with her cheerful disposition and optimistic attitude. But then again, I guess cliche-ness is to be expected, since this is a shoujo manga.
The artwork is good, although I find it somewhat annoying that the adults all look the same age as the kids. Like, half the time a character will be introduced, and I'll assume he or she is school-aged until they're like, "Oh! I'm 35, and the judge of this competition!" Or something.
The characters are, again, typical, with the ever-optimistic, somewhat oblivious heroine, the hot childhood friend with a secret crush, the handsome model love rival, the overprotective father, etc., etc. I am slightly partial to the sarcastic Riko-chan, but we haven't really seen very much of her, so...=/.
All in all, this is a very cliche manga. Not to say that what I've read hasn't been enjoyable, but there is very little originality. If you're a shoujo lover and don't really care too much about art, go ahead and read this. (And it is very cute, despite all its flaws. It's just . . . typical, I guess.) But, if you're looking for something new and different...I'd pass this one by.

So cute and happy... with just enough obstacles to give it some flavor. Nice to see that this isn't some ugly duckling turns swan story, or a story about some insecure emo heroine who needs some guy to live. Orika clearly has the goods; the beauty, determination, and talent necessary to succeed. And I will be rooting for her all the way!
And of the two guys, I'm partial to Haruto. Sorry, Kana-chan, but you missed your chance...

the author paints very beautiful,each figures are so cute. when i tried to read the first chapter i has already started to like it .I believe Kazuki Orika has very long way to go in her moderling career.

It was just so cute !!! I only read the first chapter and I already started to like it !!! Same as eternaltorture, I loves LOVE TRIANGLE and MODELING stories!!
Bleh~! The plot is too stereo-typed. I tried reading the first chapter but I got bored. Maybe... I'll shelf this one for now. No plans of reading it in the near future.
