Description
In company-owned rabbit-hutch apartments live tenants who can't afford to live anywhere else, and the apartment complex in which high-school girl Hatsumi Narita lives is ruled over by the rumor mongering, self-righteous Mrs. Tachibana. so I started this and pushed myself through 8 volumes, hoping it would get better. but my god.. this manga is terrible. the only stuff in here is rapists & sadists & over-controlling guys. don't read it.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!
First up, I disliked the ending of course. Not just for who Hatsumi ends up with, but also the lack of closure on Azusa's subplot. Overall, the storytelling was engaging enough to keep me reading till volume 10, but I really had to force myself to read the last 2 (I hate leaving stuff unfinished). The worst thing was the lack of character development, Azusa was the only character that changed and redeemed himself, his twist was also interesting. Hatsumi and Ryouki on the other hand was irritating to begin with and did not change, Ryouki in particular was in dire need of growth and maturity. Learning of his background may have earnt him sympathy, but without emotional growth, the sympathy dried up.
Shinogu was my favourite, being a very sweet guy and how he kept popping up everywhere cos of all his jobs, but he didn't have enough screen time at the beginning to even give his character a chance to develop. This got a 6 rather than a 8 because of the ending.

This manga's biggest plus where the twists and turns in the story. The biggest drawback was the sucky ending and poor characters. Had things turned out differently or if Shinogu reaction to the ending had been slightly less dramatic i would probably have loved the manga, but with the ending it has, i thought it was good but not great

I really liked this one... Really interesting love triangle. It's not very typical. Okay, whatever. Maybe you didn't like the ending. But, if you liked it in all then it's kinda strange to give it a 6 or lower. That's like saying you really liked it, but it only deserves a D. Not even a C. I mean, come on? How is that logical? It's even less logical then why the girl ended up with Ryoki. Seriously. I give it a 9.5
Not a 10 because I wish she would've ended up with someone else. Not a 9 because everyone's been so mean to the poor manga. So... a 9.5

she ended up going with someone that abused her, who would do that?? She had the choice between a good looking model that turned out alright in the end, someone that cared for her and treated her with so much care and respect and someone that just wanted to do her, why would she pick him?!?! argh!!
Okay, I read this quite awhile ago. The art was nice. The storyline was good. The ending, I HATED.

I mean seriously, anyone who thinks her going for Ryouki is okay, great, whatever, must be crazy. Even though this is just fictional, I don't like the way Ryouki treats her throughout the whole series. He was being mean constantly. How the hell can you fall in love like that? I know several girls who have relationships like that, but they don't listen to what I say/think. God. Shinogu would have been MUCH, MUCH better of with Hatsumi. And the fact that he became a monk. Oh god. That just tipped my boat. I mean, he sacrificed SO much. What does Ryouki sacrifice? Nothing that he cares for. Euggghhhh! Even Azusa would've been okay. Anyone BUT Ryouki.

This work had me quite startled. I saw a different bad guy that somehow made it to the manga's last page and this... is really unexpected. Hmm... how do I say this? It's not that dislikeable for Ryouki-kun to pair up with Hatsumi. Although I like Shinogo as well. But thinking about Ryouki's background... with all those gossiping and his LARGE pride for being a genius, I cannot imagine him being any body else. It's really hard to just transform into a good guy overnight. He can be forceful when things don't go his way, typical of a spoiled child. But if you'll think things over, he grew up to be good FOR someone who grew up in his family completely devoid of love. So, this manga is okay for me.

first i wanted for hatsumi to be with azusa, than shinogu, but never that brat ryouki..... normally i like the 'bad guy' type, but this guy... ugghh... he was more like a 'bad kid' instead of a guy... and totally uncute !! (why the glasses....)
i'm giving it 5 because of the guy hatsumi ended up with... if it were shinogu, it could be 9 r even 10

The heroine of the story is annoying and seemingly stupid? I mean, I don't know what to say about her. The characters of the story just made it painful to read. I mean, seriously. I tried to skip a few chapters to speed ahead because I was getting annoyed at them. (But alas, I got too confused from all of the drama that I had to go back and read it. :[ Sigh.) At least, at about chapter twenty or so I just decided to stop reading. Honestly, I don't know why it took me so long to give up on it.
The manga, I guess, isn't terrible. I just..don't really like it? Maybe I'll bring up the courage to finish it sometime, but I don't think that will be any time soon.
