the first time i read this i loved it. it seemed to have everything i wanted and need. at the time i was a huge shugo smut fan a was on the verge of reading every shoujo smut baka updates has to offer (i officially have now) and this seemed to have all th elements i was looking for. at the time i was used to ditzy weak female characters becuz lots of shougo smut tends to have those type of characters. so it was great i loved it and it was very memorable but i know after reading all the smut and going on to read normal shoujo i could never read this again and like it as much as the first time. i tried once and i was very throw off by the whole thing so i just decided to keep the happy memories of this manga in my head and forever remember it the way i saw it when i read it the first time. so im gonna say its a great read. but overall i guess that is debatable but the art is great no matter what type of story you like and the lead male is hot as a mother
I like this series... and not because it reminds me of Black Bird either. But I do have to admit that they are very very similar. Besides that I love the artwork. Very much to my liking. Though there are similarities to black bird, I still like the story. Read it <3
This manga is for stupid people. I can't believe people love this.
So we have a totally useless girl who is also a Mary Sue and she is surrounded by guys who want to rape her. Story? There is no story. It's just a bunch of random events where the protagonist Hiyo is doing stupid things and she is chased by guys or her fiance is seducing her.
Now, the setting is also lame. And it's not that I mind the school-setting. Hiyo attends to a school where everyone is a monster, but they look human with an animal mixed. Later, the author is adding vampires, deities, demons and seriously, wtf. She is trying to make things more melodramatic by,

Making Kurou getting seduced by another woman and then it is revealed that he is the bad guy. And so Hiyo had to fight him in a style a.ka Sailor Moon.
Also I couldn't see romance. Ok, her fiance was telling her some sweet words but still, it wasn't something deep. Most of the time their relationship was comical and he was just there to save her from the 'bad guys'. And some notice about smut; I didn't saw any smut. There were only a slight ecchi scenes on the beginning but later there wasn't any smut. I was expecting a Midnight Secretary, Akuma na Eros smut scenes.
The characters are barely developed and most of them are boring. Even the male lead do not convince me, I found him pretty boring. And Hiyo is just freaking dumb.
I have also a big complaint about the artwork. It is supposed to be a soft smut title, yet the artwork do not match much. It's an artwork that fits more for a magical girl manga or just a light shoujo.
I picked this only because it was labeled as smut and second because I heard it was good like Midnight Secretary and it was nothing like that.
A main character running around almost getting raped by everyone only she is saved RIGHT in time by her gross pervert fiance or someone else that is also perverted. So really I dont know if you could call that being saved I guess thats the best it's going to get for her.
and I dont even know what the plot is. It seemed to be mainly based on perverted and ridiculous (and not funny) situations. Twas not my cup of tea. And although I didn't read all of it (I feel kind of bad still reviewing it but I really had to stop) it was really lacking in plot, seriousness and decency from what I could see. Maybe it gets vastly better as time goes on I really don't think so though... I mean as far as stories go it could be a lot worse I suppose but still this is 12 whole freaking volumes long. My experience with this one was filled with a bunch of WTF moments.
But I mean that's my opinion. See for yourself. It really just depends on your tastes because apparently 300 other people love it, which baffles me.
Ok ignore other comments because you HAVE to read for yourself to decide!!! I love this manga so much that I have to read it over again a 2nd time!!!! I agree that the main lead is always getting rapped and doesn't try to defend herself most of the time, but her stubborn and cute attitude make up for it! Considering how much mangas I've read (over 1000 but a lot I forgot name so not on my lists) I can defintely say the girl is NOT weak AT ALL! Ive seen SO much worse that will make you unable to pass chapter 2! So give it a shot before deciding!

After reading all the great reviews surrounding this manga, I picked it up and found it somewhat bland. This manga is targeted toward younger middle school level students reading their first smut. There were some nice heavy sex scenes and the male lead was pretty sexy/handsome, but the plot developments were so sudden/unrealistic I ended up skipping quite a bit. The main female lead is very annoying - probably the weakest lead I've ever seen (and usually a weak lead is not that big of a deal). She just acts like a baby, has no thoughts of her own, wears a puffy dress, and makes you dumbfounded that the male lead can actually love her. The series isn't horrible, but I got bored and dropped it in the middle.
I was kinda upset with the quick rushed way it ended there was no build up to the final scene it just took 3 chapters to make a whole new story line for the ending which I didn't like.I mean when I first saw it I looved it and it had great potential but it just got ruined along the line with the stupid story nd it became very predictable nd so unbelievably unrealistic I mean yh I know it was fantasy nd all but it was just common sense nd I found the main female lead hiyo to be a complete pathetic idiot that had this big title but litually did nothing but relie on her boyfriend nd defend the guys that tried to rape her I mean WTF (nd yh its not smutty at all for all u perverts) I read the comments here before hand but still went ahead and read it nd at first I thought "wait wat r they talking about " but u soon realise wat it written is true. I still don't regret watching it but let's just say in the next few hours this manga will be put into my crap book and never to be remembered. Overall I say dnt get excited with the intro it will only lead to u saying "what did I read" but if Ur desperate nd out of manga go for it but still it will be the same result either way.
this manga is booooring i will probably finish it cause i started it but come on can't a girl get some actual plot i dont feel that hiyo is cute though and im not really opposed to ditzy,naive,weak either she was just super bland
and the guy was not attractive to me at all, he is just as annoying as hiyo i wish the manga was about jin (the wolf) and a completely different girl or the fox demon and a completely different girl
ok i Finnish reading this entire manga in a day and i have to say WTF. the main character female is the most stupid female character ive seen, i mean dont she learn. and wats with always almost getting rape scene. the endng was also really stupid.
in my eyes the real bad guy in the manga who is to, start with the cause of the demon lord being born is Hiyo. if she was not soo stupid, always getting her self in trouble, even though she likes the guy the crow guy seems like she couldnt stay with one guy and always getting herself in trouble. i mean how hard i is to say no i can go or its too dangerous or some one warning her there is trouble even though she trust them.
o well its ok, for me i like reading manga or anything so i never stop reading it, but for some people, the begginning of the manga is interresting then drops down right away
anyway i give it a 6 just because i understood the manga and they make a proper ending for this type of manga even though its a stupid ending
I read this manga a year ago, and it was.......................................................................... Not 100% let's just say heh.... It was pretty stupid, she's getting raped all the time then becomes best buddies with the guys 'violating' her, and her fiance is a mega perv, and she was STUPID. STUPID I hate main leading females that always get sexually abused, and way to vulnerable, weak and dumb as a door nail. This manga is okay if you have NOT read the more amazing mangas 10x better than this, or if you like watching this kinda stuff... I guess since I've been more into reading NON immature manga, I just can't stand this as much as I did a year ago. Srsly, I consider moving on to a diff manga....bleck.
