Description
During a flashback, an interviewer inquires Kuzumi Taiga, a prospective student for Seinagi Private High School, on what he would do if he could use magic, during his entrance interview. He replies, "take over the world", with an outburst of laughter, from an attractive girl, following his answer.
After the entrance exam, the school rejects his application; although he recalls almost nothing after this event, he does recall the girl, and believes the cause of his school of choice rejecting his application involves her.

I've read this manga several times and i love it wish it would have been continued though, i feel like it was just getting to the good part now that Kuzumi was gonna be on equal footing. i say its worth a continuation.

Another amazing read. But as you may or may not know, it got discontinued so the ending was rushed. But even so, it was still a great manga and I high recommend it. Sometimes I feel that the Japanese lack taste sometimes to let such an amazing manga go by. I highly doubt that this series will come back, but you can only hope you know?
All in all, it's one of the better mangas that I've read. Despite the ending, just go for it. You'll definitely won't look back!

note that most people that hated this manga hate it because they want more of it. superb art, superb story, okay ending for an arc in a conventional manga. yes, very sad that there isnt more.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
it's a mangaka's manga, or a manga reader's manga. at times i think it's alot of negation of conventional manga-isms of this particular genre, and offered successful alternative to some of the usual pit-falls/eye-rollers:
(a) main char is suppose to be "the one", and power-up to no end, and become the strongest again and again.
(b) at the moment of crisis, the main char is suppose to become super-saiyan with aura overwetting everywhere and everything. and they dont ever need to use their brain.
(c) i think most manga readers expect a good series to go on forever and ever, till it doesnt even make sense anymore (think naruto)
(d) all the girls are suppose to be in love with the main char even though the main char is usually a douche.
(e) there are sexy/good premises at the beginning but no formal structure every existed before the execution of the manga itself. as time go on, everything becomes a cliche of another manga.
(f) OR there's only one type of villain: the bad guy. all that the main character does is fight the eternally available, or eternally unbeatable badness(es).
(g) special powers are not carefully formulated when necessary. usually they're left to some over-exaggerated pseudo-sciences that made you think you wish you knew less. or are based purely on emotions (love, hate/vengence)

Easily one of the greatest manga to ever get axed. I don't know whose idea it was for this to stop, but that person should feel bad. Especially when it was coming close to something huge. So far I'm liking the mangaka's new manga, but I really wish he would somehow continue this.

This is an amazing manga too bad the Japanese people wasn't fond of it. I heard it was supposed to run up to 250+ chapters[up to his 3rd year].
Unluckily the manga got canceled because of its low ratings. However the ending was still good though it was rushed and I'd love to see Kuzumi fulfill Aika's dream

i still wonder why it was canceled. This manga was brilliant and this is how harry potter should have been like. Very well structured and a lot of humor and though the ending was predictable i still wanted to be told what could have happened. Brilliant Art. I think it should be returned and finished off properly. ignoring the ending, This manga was brilliant throughout which makes up for the rushed ending. i highly recommend it.
So much potential let down by a rushed ending

This manga had quite a bit going for it: good artwork, fun characters, and an interesting and unique storyline. Unfortunately, it seems like forces outside the mangaka's control forced him to rush the ending and try to wrap everything up with in just a few short chapters.
The problem is, the author spent 90 some odd chapters laying the groundwork for various threads and themes that would be running through the course of the manga only to have to try to suddenly wrap everything up within the space of a few chapters. It's not possible, and while I can't fault the author for doing the best they could under the circumstance, it does nothing but leave an unsatisfying taste in the mouth of the reader, and regrets for what might have been.
It's really a shame to see such wasted potential, and while I really hope the author gets a chance to continue this story on down the line somewhere, in my heart of hearts I think this is the last we'll see of Kuzumi and company.
So in the final verdict, can I recommend this? Yes, but with the understanding that the ending is extremely rushed, and will more than likely not please the vast majority of readers out there.
I'm giving this one an 8, as I don't fault the author so much for the ending as I'm sure this wasn't how he envisioned it turning out either. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that his next project is equally enjoyable, and that he's given a chance to tell the full story in the way he wants to.

I am giving this a 9 since the ending killed it for me... its drags on until it FINALLY gets good then.... oh shit its over? thats it? WTF? GIVE ME MY TIME BACK PLEASE!
I mean it was a GREAT story Great characters Great EVERYTHING but the ENDING!!! I guess it wasnt up to par to the people making it.... but sadly I Disagree with this. I thought it was a very good
read and i wish they would have fixed the ending.... actually I wish they continue it further Im not talking an Omake extra chapter. im talking I WANTED TO SEE MORE VOLUMES LIKE MABYE ANOTHER 5-6 or so. Dont you agree? Or did the ending just crush me to the point that i am bias?
Edit - changed my rating to a 9... I thought about it and i cant portray the manga in a negative way just because I personally was unhappy with the ending. I mean everything leading up to the ending was perfect couldnt have asked for more.
