From Nagareboshi Manga:
Hikage is a reclusive 8th grader who no one seems to notice. She finds comfort in her blog, and the people who comment on it. Everything changes one day when two cute boys notice her. These boys are the most popular kids in the entire school. When one of them tells her something that she's always wanted to hear, she might not be as invisible as she thought.

Cute little time waster

I was a little excited when I started the manga, because it seemed like it had some potential.
But the "twists" and "surprises" are pretty obvious, and you can't even call it a love triangle, really, because you know immediately who she will end up with.
I wasn't too fond of the main character either, but she's a pretty typical shoujo girl, if not a bit more...needy.
Altogether, a completely average shoujo with an average plot line and ending. Good for a quick read if you want to just read something cliched and fluffy.

If you want something with substance and good characters, I suggest looking elsewhere.

A horribly, horribly average shoujo. I mean, it's so average it's mediocore(you can tvtrope it). It's like... nothing new. At all. I read like, five words a page and still knew EXACTLY where it was going to go. IT's like... ugh, not like every single cliche, but it FEELS so damned cliched you just can't... damn. I mean, some parts I still enjoyed, and the art was a definite nice little 10, but still... damn, it was average. Not exactly a waste of time, but I did read the entire series in ~30 minutes, skipping all the meaningless, predicatable stuff. Check it out. If you're a shoujo fan, you'll like it.

The BEST FREAKING PART of the ENTIRE SERIES was the extra at the end detailing megaPIG, the other commentor. Now THAT was more fun and the entire series. At the very least, read the entire series to get to that part. it was just done BETTER.

What it's like to be in the shadows.

"A person is very weak when he's by himself. But if he has friends to support him, if he has friends to cherish him... He can become as strong as he wants to be."
She's weak like that, yes. But she wants to change. That's why she's so sad and so easily knocked down, it's because she wants it so much that it hurts! If anyone can say that she's so pitiful then you don't know what it's like to be ignored, not even noticed. It's a horrible feeling. One can't even speak up if someone is using their seat. It's a horrible existence when you want to be known by a few friends. Haven't you ever considered that there's someone even weaker, who can give up so much easier?

A good concept but sadly falls to the notorious group of mangas filled with Shoujo-cliches

There are certainly quite a few mangas out there that deal with loneliness and being so ordinary that you don't stand out at all, this manga had a good idea in the that the main female lead had people who would still support her, but the catch was the she didn't really know them.

Unfortunatelly for experienced readers, that's where the good ends and all you have left is a predictable shoujo-story where you know every twist that will come from just reading the first two chapters. It was painfully obvious who the people people who supported her were after the first chapter, it was also obvious that you would have the cliched popular girls that didn't like anyone else getting close to the popular guys and how that situation would end up. I've only read up to where the scanlations currently are aka chapter 10, but I can already see how this will play out.

5/10 for the good idea. For the rest, I'm sure you might eventually find a better manga for the actual story.

Personally, this series' enjoyment factor about it for me, is the fact that it is actually very realistic. And i love the messages that its got in it as well, for example how it can take only one person, or even a single act, to help someone and make them happy.

For all those who deem this unrealistic with no meaning or any of those things, i suggest a heavy dose of 'get-out-of-your-house-and-experience-the-real-world' -.-'

Got worse and worse...

This started out as a cute though predictable story with the same old characters and the same old problems.
Then after one half it looses its cuteness, turns the heroine into some shounen manga MC turning baddies into goodies, becomes even more predictable than before, and makes the personalities of the characters totally obnoxious...

I found myself rooting for the evil girl sabotaging everything, but having her evilness cured she snaps back to being a boring character like everyone else.

Another thing: metaphors in manga can be very efficient and appealing if used correctly, using the same thing every 2 pages gets boring really fast, that's called bad writing and being uncreative

If you like shoujo in general you can stomach this. If you like Watashi ni xx Shinasai! you will probably like this. If not then run and look for something better.

predictable, sometimes cute, decent art but nothing special, only for fans - 6/10

Wasn't great, wasn't bad either...

The story seemed interesting, and it had potential to be good and while it didn’t fall flat and wasn’t a terrible story neither was it an exceptionally good one. It was just there, a mediocre manga that depending on your taste in manga you will either like or dislike. I myself enjoyed the manga even though I disliked some parts of it.

Plot- Not exceptionally unique, a girl trying to find the place where she belongs isn’t all that out of the ordinary in shoujo manga. The uniqueness of the plot was helped along with the addition of Hikage’s blog and the few twists that came from that.
The One Shot at the end was separate from the main plot but had to do with the characters, and I must say it was quite cute and I enjoyed reading it.

Characters- I liked and disliked the characters at the same time. Hikage is shy and secluded but she does want to change and she is determined to change and become a brighter person. Her determination is admirable but sometimes she felt a bit to… mopey and with low self esteem and a bit boring for the main character of the manga. As for the two main guy’s, Hinata and Teru, they both were kind and helpful to Hikage and seemed like nice people but sometimes they were to self centered and shallow. So at times I enjoyed the characters and at other times I didn’t like them all that much.

Art- It was very nice artwork, nothing lacking here.

Other- At times I got a bit bored with the manga, it seemed to take a bit longer than needed and dragged on a few times. Also nearer to the end a few events were a bit… unrealistic, and while that’s to be expected in manga for this manga it was a bit strange since everything else was so very realistic and then at the end there were a few excessive decisions and actions that threw everything off balance. So while I enjoyed the story I also felt it was just… there and it didn’t stand out to me compared to other manga. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend this but if you are interested and have time to read the story I would recommend you read it.

6/10 –Liked it

This is pretty good. Short and sweet, with gorgeous art.

I'm glad this was only 5 volumes, any longer and it would've degenerated in to a dramatic emo-fest love triangle. It's perfect though for 5 volumes.

Nicely pulled off and resolved. I think I'll be buying the Del Ray editions when they come out too.
