i read the first few volumes, and skipped to the last few, and it seemed that not only was there not really of a romantic development between kyouhei and her, kyouhei seemed to show no interest romantically in her at all?! there was even a part where he seemed to romantically be interested and flirting with the other girl, (noi-chan?)! hmmmm. that kind of turns the appeal down for me..

might pick it up more when i'm bored/ might read the last few volumes when the releases come out. and i can't believe everyone wants to keep changing sanako. for being with her so long, do they not see that she's unique and doesn't really need to change.. ? a bit shallow.. (i think she's really pretty ^^') i want sanako to end up with a beautiful dark creature~ XDD

okay that was rash.. but the bad point is also a good point. the romance is slight, but developed tactifully. and okay, it's there, i'm just a romance junkie so i'm used to more XD so yeah. more more more~

eh, but try it, it's unique and might be for you. some might like the draggy-ness. -shrug-

i love this manga even though i agree with the other comments saying that it drags out for so long and is quite repetitive, i think its what makes it unique though and kind of keeps you on the edge waiting for the actual real lovey-dovey romance to begin between the two.. well the 'meant to be main couple' of the story..if ever and it makes me LOL so yeah, loves it!

If you're going to read this, read the first 5 volumes, and then the last 10 chapters.
I have not read a more drawn-out story.
The rating on this series is dropping in every release that does not show an ending.

I read up until volume 15 and i just couldn't take it anymore it was great in the beginning but i really hated how it dragged on and on and on and on and on.... well you get the point so many side stories..and i don't even think some chapters are worth reading :l but in all honesty enjoy the beginning because as you go on you'll be dreaded by the dullness and little development of the plot.

I LOVE this Series xD The first volumes especially had me laughing like crazy! Definitely worth reading xD but um, later chapters (after chapters 50-60) Sunako is still stuck in a loop of "I am an ugly girl" and "I'm going to crawl in my little dark room" and there's zero developement in the romance department with Kyouhei; when they try to go anywhere near to a good chance to like eachother; she nose-bleeds her head off, at first it was funny, but later it gets annoying x___x I mean, you'd think she'd get used to the guys already by now (I'm at chapter 78+) but no, she still has ALL the problems from the start of the manga. I think the manga was at it's best up the chapter 50s (maybe 60s too) I hope Sunako starts showing signs of going forward! so she wouldn't be constantly a chibi drawing, but I'm afraid that's going to happen only at the end of the story. but over all, I love the first volumes, all worth reading, they're so much fun xDD loved them a lot.

This manga is really great, wonderful drawings, and interesting and unique characters. The Wallflower does a great job showing different character types. I love Takenaga, Kyouhei, and Sunako-chan!

The manga had a lot of potential in the beginning. It was funny and I really liked the main character cuz she isn't like the other air-headed shojo girls. However, this manga has been going on for way too long. There has been no progress in the plot (I'm on chapter 88) and I don't see any chance of resolution in the near future.

I am considering just returning to the manga when the series is over and reading the last two chapters. I'm sure I won't have missed much.

If you ever get bored you should read this series to pass the time but if you're not don't even bother. This series is OK but it seems the mangaka gets tired of the hard drawings (drawings the pretty guys) and draws the main character chibi 90% of the time. I keep reading this series to just see the shining moment, guess i have patience for "some" series. This one is just lucky i give it a 7/10 and "hyd ed" funny way to kill main charcter lol. Ah! also 3 years pass which i mean 3 Halloweens pass >.> and there still 15yrs old EH!!!! They surely surpass the law of physics or they must have found the fountain of youth lol.

This manga is harem? Never knew....

Anyway, it's a great comedy manga. Very original and creative, though the art can be confusing times to times.

Like what many people said, the beginning was funny as hell. Sunako is the best character in the series, and is the reason why I read it in the first place. But I had to drop the story since it dragged on way to much. But I recommend for people to read it for awhile, since it'll have you laughing your ass off for quite awhile(courtesy of sunako of course)
