I hate Kaicho wa Maid-sama. The male lead is annoying--especially his whole "you're a girl so you can't do anything manly" schtick. I know it's probably coz he's afraid she won't like guys or something, but it feels like veiled misogyny to me. It's like he won't even let the girl protect herself (when she can). And the fact that the girl allows this pisses me off.

I'm forcing myself to read Black Bird so I can say I've read it, with all the hype going on; but 3 volumes in I'm sooooo sick of it dead

OOO I just remembered! Vampire knight uhhhhhhh dead I knew it when it was just starting and it was me and my cousin at first then my cousin said I don't like it... I continued hoping it will change to be better in the end I just couldn't take it anymore and dropped it.

It's finished, but Hana to Akuma. I tried it ages ago, but I think I forced myself through about 5 chapters, thinking I should give it a chance because of the number of rave reviews, but I just couldn't take any more than that. I found it mindless and I didn't really like the art..

I'm not interested with the too good looking characters that everyone admires.

I really dislike Pichi Pichi Pitch. Because the heroine is annoying -_-;;
Suki tte Ii na yo and Kaichou wa Maid-sama too. I read Suki tte ii na yo at first, but bored since I don't like how the story goes.
And Vampire Knight too much sparkles for me.
Namida Usagi - Seifuku no Kataomoi I have the comics until volume 6, but I got bored. the heroine becomes surprisingly annoying and the hero just transformed from scary-megane character to a popular handsome boy.

I want to like Red River but I read Ouke no Monshou first and I just can't unsee the similarities. I can't get through from far away I had really good intentions but it's getting a little boring and I find the heroine a little forgettable. I no longer touch slice of life or school related shoujo with a stick, I just find them all the same.

Let's see...
Every girly anime ( or manga, I only watched an episode of 2 of the anime to decide if I'd try out the manga, if there was one for it) fan said they loved ones like maid sama, mermaid melody and vampire knight, but I really hated them. Skip beat was ok, though, because the main girl was kind of a tomboy a lot of the time and was actually not all wimpy and male reliant. Not to say I don't enjoy a cute little romance now and then, it's just that the girls in them are usually dull and weak.

I definitely don't like Hana Yori Dango. Rather than that it' badly written, it's just it's one of the worst mangas according to my liking. I hate that guy to his guts.

Plenty others I don't like, but those are only cause it's cliched and overall not a good enough manga to get me to hate it.

Another one to add for me: Hadashi de Bara o Fume. Okay, I don't really like historical settings to being with, but - What is with all that drama and the roses and such? No, it's just no for me and I don't even want to give it another try, even though it appears to be quite popular. Haha.

Popular manga that I don't like at all:

Watashi ni XX Shinasai
Special A ( tried the anime and the manga, just can't get it)
Ouran koukou host club (same case of SA)
Hadashi de Bara o Fume
Usotsuki lily
Beauty Pop

Popular manga that are overrated or are not bad but nothing special :

Kaichou wa Maid Sama
vampire knight
oresama teacher
The wallflower (the anime is great, manga is too long)
Kamisama Hajimemashita

I LOVE NANA and Hana Yori Dango. Those are my favorite manga of all but I have to admit that it is not for everyone. You may hate one of the nanas in the manga several times that makes you drop it. I just think it s great. There are a lot of people like her in real life that makes the manga the most realistic shoujo I've ever read. But if you hate depressing/sad manga you will never like it.
And about Hana Yori Dango the art is terrible at the beginning and I think the manga is way too long for some. Even I that loves it thinks that it should have stopped a bit earlier.
