I want a manga with a gender bender (don't have to be the main story or character, it's better when it isn't labelled as gender bender too) where you don't know there is some. and it's surprising.

examples:
Fruits basket
Angel sanctuary

and you can't find it out at the beggining or soon after, like:
here is greenwood
ouran high school host club
and so on.

Princess and a Bum No evidence yet, but I have strong suspicions (aided--sorry--by the label gender bender). Anyway, it hasn't even been revealed to the reader yet as of chapter 7, much less the other characters.

And you've probably read this, but there is a character who plays a very convincing girl for a few chapters in Lovely Complex

I second 1/2 Prince / 1/2 Prince (Novel). Gender roles is a main theme in the story, and the bending isn't limited to just the protagonist. ^^
