I'm looking for mangas/anime with art and story that make it look happy or like a kid show but has intricate plot lines or gets very violent.

Examples:
One Piece
Hunter x Hunter more so in the beginning because the art changes later
Shaman King
Konjiki no Gash!!

I read all of them, but out of all of them Ueki no Housoku is the kind of manga I'm looking for. I want one where at first glance it wouldn't seem to be violent or is just really silly but gets dark

Precure series. Its a kiddy show but its heavy on the action and depending on the season the plot as well.

My three favorites of the like 10 of them are:

Heartcatch Precure
Smile Precure
Dokidoki Precure
