i need manga with good mysteries. any genre is fine. any gore detail is okay. but please refrain from suggesting titles with tsundere loli. i mean it.
(i'm not okay with Gosick)
something like:
Akaya Akashiya Ayakashi no
Akumu no Sumu Ie - Ghost Hunt << that also means Ghost Hunt
B.A.D. (SAKAKIBARA Sousou)
Bungou Stray Dogs
Dantalian no Shoka << Dalian is tsundere but the mystery is good so i still read this
Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners
Kuroshitsuji
Monochrome Myst << was not tagged as mystery, but i found this manga is very intriguing
Mouryou no Hako
Sugiru Juunana no Haru
Toukei Ibun
Mononoke
Kokushi no Shima
Shiki

well, maybe some of you realize that i read most of Ono Fuyumi's works. yes, i totally love her works smile wink grin

In no particular order:
- Mushishi - Very nice atmosphere
- Umineko no Naku Koro ni series: this one has 8 arcs, each with a slightly different telling, allowing you to eventually arrive at the full truth
- Kui Tan - Solving cases by eating food. xD
- The Conductor
- Anything by Naoki Urasawa (Monster, Pluto, 20th Century Boys, Billy Bat). Each person seems to have a different opinion of which series he likes best, strangely enough.
- Kubera - this will not look like a mystery at first, but it's one of the most complexly structured, 'solvable' mysteries I think I've seen. There's a whole essay on that:

Dalsez -webtoon, this one has some horror in it too

Iris Zero -much more lighthearted then the other ones, more slice of life but still very good.

S. I. D. -this one is good but it has an axed ending

Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria (Novel) -if you don't mind a novel this one is one of the best mysterys i have read especially the first volume.

both Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen and Noragami are very good ones(especially noragami), they both have the same aritst.

Hanged Doll -also good but has a lot of horror and does not have a happy ending

if you dont mind more of a slice of life mystery Bokura no Kiseki is a very good one but it can get pretty confusing if you dont follow whats happening.

these are detective manga. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but they're both great. They're connected (same author, some crossovers, etc). I don't know if you like Conan, but they're nothing like it, they're a lot better (I dislike conan)
