So, middle schooler - high schooler, high schooler - university freshman, university graduate - just beginning office girl, in the end about 1-5 year difference between parties. Guess last example about graduate would be age edge for male, if they about thirty both and both working such age difference doesn't make any spice. Don't care about art, but they should look their age, not like in some shoujo male high schoolers look like adult porno actors. They should behave more or less believable as well, not like in some shoujo when sexually aggressive middle schooler mentally fack up blushing university girl. Please, without rape and ntr and other cheap plot devices. Don't care if she is virgin or not, but don't want 100+ chapters arc about her previous boyfriend who is plotting against main characters.

Bitou Lollipop - the age gap is right, but I'm not sure about the rest; the main couple is high school girl x middle school boy, but the female lead actually has a crush on a guy her age and that guy is an ass who thinks with his lower half (at least the female lead understands that)

Game Over (MIZUTANI Fuka) - the age gap is bigger than requested (in fact it's office lady x middle schooler), but it should be worth a shot (it's short anyway)

Hitorimi Haduki-san to. - similar setup to the above, but the guy is a high schooler instead

Kanojo wa Sore o Gaman Dekinai (IWASHITA Shigeyuki) - high school student x teacher in training (which means she is a university student); royally messed up...

Natsu no Zenjitsu - university student x some woman who is older than him; this one kind of has lots of sex... (not my kind of thing)

Bonnouji - appears to have the right age gap, but neither of the characters is still attending school, so the age gap isn't probably noticeable at all

Futari no Renai Shoka - high schooler x some girl who is older than him (not sure how old she is though); woudl probably work really well, but it's untranslated...

Yeeeah, tried to read this... how to say, the characters too facked up, disgusting sometimes, so no to this one.

Kinda not what i wanted in requirements, but art is cute, so readed it anyway.

Sorry wrote wrong manga (with the same title), was supposed to be Kanojo wa Sore o Gaman Dekinai (IWASHITA Shigeyuki).

My recs are shoujo (just bc that's mosty what I read)
Nanoka no Kare: girl is in her first year of high school and the boy is in his third year of middle school. Both leads are genuinely nice.
Kanojo ga Kare ni Ochiru Riyuu Both in highschool, but the girl is still older.

I second Nanoka no Kare. It's sweet and surprisingly refreshing.

Himawari (UENO Ai) a short one. (3 years) - I think he was a uni student? Not sure. And she was working.

Rahxephon the manga is horrid and has NOTHING to do with the great show.
The stand alone Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal ova(a tragic love story with movie quality art and music) could be to your liking. I only wanted to make you read my Wolf Guy review comment. The manga can kill after all. Please Save My Earth takes time. Please try again if you didn´t outright hate it. The X manga(8/10)has every romance under the sun possible. The tv anime is better(9/10).
Death Note(9,5/10) and Claymore(8,5/9) aren´t romantic but have the age-gap.
