Yeah. Like my title. Can you guys recommend me some good manga about Mercenary?

I can not hope it is good as Berserk (well, at least before Berserk became fantasy Shounen with Puck, Isidro and magics, in my opinion, it sucks), but it is good if the main character (I prefer male, but whatever) calm, cool, goes alone, deals with his/her problems his/her-self.

Well, I have read these manga with "Mercenary" category (and feel like some people trolling me):
- Berserk: Hell yeah. If Berserk is not the best manga, I guest it is one of the best.
- Black Lagoon: Quite good.
- Claymore: Kinda... bad in my opinion. It is in the borderline of Shounen and Seinen. To sum-up the plot, it does not different than DBZ much without the "scary stuff". But what the hell... I do not remember much about the mercenary stuffs in Claymore.
- The Arms Peddler: Above average, though some time it make me I feel like I am reading a better version of Claymore without the power ups. And again... I do not see much about the mercenary stuffs in here.
- Jackals: Superb art. But the plot is quite bad.

Hope you guys can help.

I just went by our Mercenary tag alone that clearly needs to be filled. New ones only:
Area 88 is too long so watch the 80s OVA.
Full Metal Panic! and then Full Metal Panic! Σ but the story overstays it´s welcome and the anime is better done do watch that and jump on board with part 2. I dropped Full Metal Panic! Another with a volume but the still not translated Full Metal Panic! 0 is ok i guess and i love the artist.
Gangsta. It starts strong and i reviewed but the series is slipping in quality.
Golgo 13 I am ultimately not a fan of any version but it is the bestselling seinen of all time.
Pineapple Army could be better but Urasawa who wasn´t the author had to start somewhere.
Shi ga Futari o Wakatsu Made is close to masterpiece status and it reads like an American comic. The side-stories are just avarage.
Zetman has the tag for some reason and the manga is both a fascinating mess and his best work.
Look at my lengthy post here: Manga centered on soldier at war. Both themes go hand in hand. (The Bande dessinée markt is overflowing with the theme btw.)

Edit: So i could help. Shi ga Futari o Wakatsu Made is secretly a Batman manga as both read identically over time. The arts is a 10/10 and the story goes in directions that most action series would never do so my 9,5/10 is justly earned.

@residentgrigo: Thank you very much for the reply.
- Area 88: Gonna try it. But I can not buy English volume. No chapters are scanlated. So sad.
- Full Metal Panic: It really not my type. I am not really too old, but I do not like Shounen much. I do not like characters and the art style (may be it is too old and the scans are bad, too).
- Gangsta: I read it because your recommend. It is truly a good manga at first. But later, I dislike the way it change its tone (from normal street fighters to mutated fighters, I guest it will even be supernatural fighters, haha).
- Golgo 13: It is a good manga but I forgot it. It is a waste that only 3 chapters are scanlated. I heard it have an anime adaption but I do not have time...
- Pineapple Army: Above average in my opinion. It really have a good story, but the art kinda bad in my opinion (but it is tolerable, because the manga is old).
- Until Death Do Us Part: I do not know why I just read the first chapters and... drop it. I have tried to read it and... dropped it again. Hope you can persuade me if you are free enough, haha.
- Zetman: I have read it. But... do it have anything relate to Mercenary anyway? Whatever. I feel that it is a little too much drama and... philosophical for me. Haha. Maybe I used the word "philosophical" in a wrong way and wrong scene. But I can not find any other word in my mind. I am kinda bad at English because my first language is not English. Whatever, Zetman is good in art and story-telling, but I dislike the way the author put too much texts to characters' thought to express what he want to tell the reader. About "Unorthodoxy Hero", I prefer Onepunch-Man or even Penisman.
About your list in another comment, I will research it later.
