Unrealistic but has a good point

Really unrealistic(hehe xD). But it did move my heart ;__; I didn't shed a tear, but I was on the verge. The emotions, the tragic incidents, everything, was used to get a message across, done beautifully. Though she could've just stuck to ONE tragic part and stuck with it...

The story is very unrealistic, but it gets its message across. Most mangas are done to entertain. I did not enjoy reading this manga at all, I think there's something wrong with you if you did. This one is written to make you think. For that, it did a remarkable job even if the mangaka tried to shove it down our throats. Whatever happened to subtlety...

this is so sad. i couldn't stop crying after i finished the ending.
sigh... [edit](*sniff* time to do a proper review~)
the art was okay - the way the hair is drawn is quite nice.
the plot though, as many ppl say, is a bit weird/unrealistic as the mangaka tends to add as many tragedy-combos,consecutively as she can -- which is why its so friggin sad -- this manga would certainly appeal greatly to ppl looking for something to cry on but i doubt it would satisfy anyone who is looking for something with a substaintial, realistic, plot.
anyhuU~ it was okay~
sighh~ how can the mangaka b so cruel to his/her characters~~ sighhh~
since i think its okay...

It got better..

The series is overly tragic, making everything look cheap and corny. After one tragic incident, another one occurs - there's no reason to feel sympathy for the characters.

I'll have to agree with sakura1083.

EDIT - After taking a long break from this manga, I have to change my mind. The story, in my opinion, improved greatly during the arc with Yoshiyuki and when Ayu isn't devoid of feelings.. I actually feel for the characters here. The ending actually almost made me shed a tear.. Much better than I thought it would be.

Well, I believe this is one of the saddest manga I've ever read... It's very sad and beautiful... I think it's just perfect despite it's very very sad. It really made me cry.

I have read this manga and the other ones that go with it, and every time i read it, i can't help but cry. Heck, even thinking about it makes me cry.
I think that no matter how many times i would read this story, i'll always cry.

This is a must read for everyone! It teaches a lesson that everyone needs to learn

Too unrealistic

Too many tragic coincidences one after another. Life can be cruel sometimes, but this story was so unbelievable I could hardly care for the characters, more or less the way any tragic event in a cheap soup opera tends to inspire laughs instead of tears. No matter how bad a title is, I always read it till the end to judge it properly, but I nearly made and exception here. Deep Love is too corny for it's own sake.

It's a bit weird, you have to fill out alot of gaps yourself. Might have helped if it used a few more chapters to tell the story. But it was really good and really tragic. Even moved my cold and hardened heart a little

yes, it was dramatized, but you could feel the emotion of the characters. The way they portrayed the girl's emptiness, her loneliness, the blankness towards living- it was so well done. Then the ending, come on, that was such a tear jerker....*gosh*....T_T
