*DOKI DOKI* JUST TOO MUCH

I personally fell in love with the story in the beginning as I thought it was really unique and interesting, like a character who was cold and strong, but as the story progressed she became to soften, which really irritated me. I thought the whole story was going to be about her cellphone novel and her hilarious missions she would have with Shigure, obviously I was wrong. Tooyama has somehow turned this brilliant and original idea, the idea not the manga itself but rather the idea, into another cheesy romance *doki doki* shoujo which really upset me, especially now.
LOVE TRIANGLES, I HATE THEM LIKE I HATE TURTLENECKS AND I REALLY HATE TURTLENECKS!!!

The recent chapters have just been ehhhhh and eewwwwww especially when
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Akira and Shigure started to nibble on Yukina's ears, *TOTAL ECCHI ALERT*
I mean how does that even make it a shoujo anymore, targeted for preteen and teenage girls, and as Cherelle Ashlee stated soft porn. I hope Tooyama hurries and comes to her senses to end this manga with the awesomeness the beginning had to suck you in.

Characters were alright but could annoy the hell out of me and art was fantastic.

Hurry up and end, we don't care who she end up with either way

Ok I started reading this manga because it caters to everything I like about shoujo. However, the latest chapters have me questioning whether the author is trying to stretch this manga out or come to some conclusion. I mean, it went off topic so much that even I forgot what the manga was about =S. I wish it would hurry up and end because the plot is getting pretty stupid and it's making yukina look like a complete hussy. It went from shoujo to soft core porn, not a good sign.

Update
Now the worst thing the mangaka can do to finally add the cherry to the top of this awful cake she calls a manga, is add new "unnecessary" characters who we don't even give a shit about. At this point in time I don't even care who she ends up with, in the end both guys are dumbasses and Shigure brother is just another fool who she will string along. So much potential!!! just slowly dwindle down the drain, the mangaka looks like she gradually picked back up the original plot, but drop it, so that she can have more usless side stories! The first few chapters were so awesome!, what the hell went wrong afterwardsconfused

I knew it wasn't going to be that great but I read it anyways... AND I WAS RIGHT! =D
Nothing spectacular, original, or refreshing... Same typical old trashy fluffy shoujo that makes you want to flip tables... The art is alright too, but still nothing really special about it, typical big eyed characters that you can find anywhere.
Read it if you're bored or if you enjoy all that eye burning shoujo stuff.

This was a verrrry interesting read for me. I think it's hilarious how Shigure still does all this stuff for her (b/c he loves her etc.) but it's still funny
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
and he's given her quite a couple hickeys too
and question, since this isn't labeled like ecchi or smut what exactly would you categorize all that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
finger touchy in the mouth
just wondering out of curiosity?
otherwise this was a guilty pleasure, it certainly kept me waiting for more! biggrin

......It was ok but...their was a lack of personality and romanceon the female leads side, she was like a rock that sometimes blushed...............the romance was dead, I didn't understand why they liked eachother, or why the got went along with the bitches games, I mean what a unrealistic stupid excuse for a reason ...overall, it was kinda a waste of time, it didn't capture me what so ever, I schemes through some pages in the end cuz it was so crappie...Oh and her bloody cousin was a creepoi..I mean one minute his ok looking then he turns into some timid emoissh freak....

Admittedly, it is exceptionally cliche. It does reuse a lot of shoujo elements, and it's plot devices are definitely ones you've seen many, many times before. But there's just something about it that draws you in for more, and you can't help but continue reading chapter after chapter. It's the typical tsundere hero gets his "true character" uncovered by the heroine, as she then uses it to her advantage. Throw in the childhood friend who loves her, the love rival and the first love - you have a jumbled mess of shoujo-esque plot devices.

But at the same time, it's how the author portrays and expresses that is what counts. The characters themselves are unique in their witty dialogue, reactions and how they tie in with the story. Yukina herself (the female protagonist) is a fresh personality compared to other stories, demonstrating a more manipulative and cunning streak - in comparison to usual ditzy, shoujo heroines.

Every chapter is a new surprise, and you're constantly kept on the edge of your seat wondering what the next mission will be, or what will happen next. The drama is constantly building, and the plot itself is utterly unpredictable at times from where it will lead. The story itself drags on in such a way where it's not quite tedious, but adds the perfect amount of suspense. It has yet to reach that "overly dramatic" level, which is good.

It's been 30 + chapters, and they have yet to even share a kiss, much rather focusing on solving the character's troubles and making their feelings recognised. I feel like this is what truly makes it stand out from other shoujo stories, as it actually gives it's characters substance to work on - to improve - and to change. At the same time, it incorporates all the other factors to keep the audience interested.

All in all, it's a lot better than you'll originally anticipate. Sure, it reuses so many cliches but nothing is ever truly original nowadays. The author has somehow made an incredibly overused plotline into something far more interesting, and I sincerely await the next update.

- Currently up to Volume 8, Chapter 37.

with Hotcocoa, below me. This series is ridiculous; the plot, the characters, the silly love triangle; but the UST overflows. And you read it. At least until you get bored of the unresolved part, and go away. But before that, you read it. You can't help yourself.

And that's Unresolved Sexual Tension, for the TVTropes uninitiated. bigrazz

A guilty pleasure read

I'm not very fond of the artwork (i.e. boobsock clothing) but I gave it a try.

Anyway, basically a lot of stoicism from the main lead, Yukina, who shows no other facial expression until she's either being felt up or thinking about being felt up.

The idea of these "missions" are rather ridiculous. Like seriously, the only reason anyone would agree to Yukina's very random and sexual-natured requests is because they want to cop a feel from an easy girl. Or, to be frank like another top comment, a slut. With each mission Yukina and Shigure become more touchy-feely and they're one step closer to kissing but never do. Only character development is that Yukina becomes less paranoid without her glasses and Shigure decides to take advantage of that.

It's an even bigger disappointment to hear that the series has become a love-pentagon. From how it's being dragged out, it would've been much more satisfying if the mangaka had just made this a full-out ecchi instead of a smutty harem shoujo; at least there would've been some sort of action by now!

Basically just popular for the UST. 9/10 chicks will probably eat this crap up.

This has to be one of the more interesting/entertaining shoujo manga out there. Full of romance and chemistry, both Yukino and Shigure make quite the couple. Yukino comes off clever and cute most of the time while twisting Shingure around her little finger and keeping him in his place! While her cousin Akira keeps the story interesting, making Shingure go nuts with jealousy. Mizuno who is Shigure's childhood friend, though a love rival, isn't as annoying as some can be. If you are into jealous lovers and making a popular guy come crawling and begging, this is it.

i started reading this under the recommendation of a friend and i loved it. but then it started to get....uninteresting. Basically, i kept on reading just to confirm that Yukina was gonna be with Shigure. I'm glad i actually took the time to read it because, as cliche as the plot is and predictable in the long run, the author does throw out some unexpected things like those missions. I was like " Is she serious??"

Overall, I just hope it doesn't get all typical again and finally end
