I've been following this manga for years and with every update, it gets better. The main characters are both broken when they meet and the story shows how complicated it is for them to heal. It also shows so much humanity is in some of the side characters. Everyone's actions are for a reason and the Yakuza world is like a jealous family longing for inheritance and the love of a parent. I love Yamashiro his story is so sad and it breaks my heart that he thinks he doesn't deserve love. Doumeki is perfect for him, short willed in some areas and soft-hearted in others. I look forward to seeing how Sensei will finish off the series.

THIS MANGA IS THE S*** AND WE ALL KNOW IT. IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT IN IT : HOT GUYS, SEX, DRAMA, SEX, ISSUES, DICKS AND SEX, A ACTUAL PLOT, SEX, INTENSE CHAPTERS THAT LEAVE YOU WANTING MORE, HOT GUYS WITH BEAUTIFUL BODIES AND FLACCID DICKS, AND ALL THE GOOD STUFF. THIS MANGA IS STRAIGHT BEAUTIFUL IN A SADISTIC SEXY WAY AND DESERVES TO BE RATED HIGHER THAN A DANG ON 1, IT DESERVES IT'S 10

I can't stand to read unfinished mangas because at the end I'll want more and will have to wait and all tension and interest may fade with the months and years of waiting.

Am at vol 4 ch 17 atm.

This title builds up a good set of characters over time and develops depth for at least the two main protagonists. The tension between them, that they're partly unaware off yet, kept me reading and I'm so curious when, how - or if at all - it'll resolve.
I'm no fan of yakuza stories at all but the chars keep this one rolling.

I actually don't read much psychological genre but this one is sooo good! You really just want to read more. Its long but its worth the time.

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START.
THIS MANGA IS KILLING ME WITH THE FEELS. EVERY CHAPTER IS FILLED WITH INTERESTING PLOTS THAT ONE COULDN'T HONESTLY HELP BUT FEEL A NUMBER OF MIXED EMOTIONS.

I LOVE THE MAIN CHARACTER. I FEEL PITY FOR YASHIRO TO BE A MASOCHIST, BUT I LOVE THE FACT THAT HIS BODYGUARD TAKES CARE OF HIM PROPERLY. HE DOESN'T REALLY INFLICT PAIN TO YASHIRO (unlike the other manga u know what~~~) BECAUSE HE KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THE PERSON HE LOVES PROPERLY.
THE SIDE CHARACTERS WERE REALLY DESCRIBED WELL BY THE MANGAKA THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN HATE THEM. AT FIRST, I WAS ROOTING FOR KAGEYAMA (bc first love lololol) BUT NOW, I'M REALLYYYYY ROOTING FOR DOUMEKI. DOUMEKI KNOWS THAT INFLICTING PAIN WILL ONLY MAKE YASHIRO BE SATISFIED, BUT NOT HAPPY.

I JUST LOVE THEM AND WILL CONTINUE TO (unless some EXTREME bdsm scene between Yashiro and Doumeki will happen, BUT HOPEFULLY NOT!!! PLEASE JUST PLEASE)

p.s. I JUST DISCOVERED THAT A LOT OF SENSEI'S WORK GETS DISCONTINUED/BE ON HIATUS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET THIS BE ONE OF THE MANGAS THAT WILL BE COMPLETED!!! MY HEART WOULDN'T TAKE IT IF OTHERWISE!!!

Something was missing for me. It featured all the elements I love in a good yaoi: Smut, dark secrets, abuse, neglect, and everything that twists a person into something ugly and pitiful, but it just didn't click with me, unfortunately.

Yoneda Kou is one of my favorite shounen ai/yaoi authors, if not THE favorite author. Her way of storytelling is extremly touching, lots of angst, but not the cheesy angst, but real angst, sadness, cruelity, despair. It's realistic, it's mature. And her art style is beyond awsome.
Yoshiro is a great character, he appeard also in her other works, but I wonder if this ongoing series was really necessary. She could have told his story in one volume, I would have been completely satisfied. It's just pointlessly dragging out. I will return to this series if it ever comes to an end, but at the moment I feel that I know everything necessary about the characters. I have no idea what Yoneda-Sensei could add to impress me. This one is just not for me. Maybe she didn't ended it earlier because of the success. I think she does better with short series.

The uke is a guy that went through something awful. but seriously the manga is pretty much him sleeping with random people each chapter, his impotent but in love with him seme, secretly yearning for him, while watching him sleep with men (literally watching him). the uke secretly yearns for him too. i find it hard to believe that someone that uses people the way he does, would be sitting in his office worrying about a subordinate that is impotent.

rinse and repeat. and thats it, thats the whole manga. uke has sex, seme is jealous but bears with it to be near him, uke meets someone else, has sex, more angst from the seme. sprinkled in are scenes where the uke is obsessed with servicing the seme even though he is impotent. the seme is weirdly loyal to the boss, im not sure why? he even is willing to cut off a finger because he failed to protect him. its just very weird and random.

im stunned the uke hasnt gotten some kind of STD. and im stunned people like this so much.
