The Michael, the Count, Lucien, and the Leon tribe were so beautiful. What if PLOT TWIST: Michael was someone from the Leon tribe? I wish there were more romance. It took forever for Lucien and Lena to meet.
Much potential but ultimately mediocre. Worth the read for a badass female lead

I honestly fell in love with the female lead here. I found myself relating to her and above all, admiring her ruthless attitude, strength, and charisma, but heartbreakingly, the story lacked meaning and the pacing of the story was a bust. I read it all though. I was frustrated midway but kept at it till the end.
At the beginning it felt as if this was about her overcoming her fears, her anger towards her family, and about growing into a more appreciative person, but the story didn't fully explore this. the mangaka, at some point, began simply conveying the events, neglecting the portrayal of the relationships in the story and the main characters feelings and values. It started to feel very Anatolia Story-like, where the political scheme became the bulk of the story. This was pretty awful for the most part. My point is, although things were developing plot wise, all the meaningful aspects of the story just stopped being explored. It's disappointing since there were many developments that could've been covered. Especially the romance, which seemed more like a sub-plot. I don't want to sound whiny here but the mangaka started a romance, teased the readers, and never developed it. i have reason to complain.

It's a good manhwa with a good plot and all but have to admit that I found it rather boring at times. Like it just seemed like it was dragging on too much about something in particular and then it seemed to hardly pay attention to other parts. I would've liked more on the modern world part as it feels like the author just totally forgot about it and then in the last chapter go "Ah there was a modern world in this story, I need to include it to finish the story!" and half-heartedly threw it in. I felt that there wasn't enough character development and a lot of the time I got confused on who someone was.
After all my complaints I still liked it though especially Lena/Ley!!! And also her friends and companions! I sort of wished that Lena would end up with Michael though...The story has its flaws but its still a nice story to read that I enjoyed. The art is also quite good and pretty.

ok started out very boring kind of story i couldn't take it then finally some where at volume 10 or something i kind of got interested the thing i hated the most was the lack of romance and sooo much of killing and people die-ing so much blood and a crazy Queen!
i had to skip a few box every chapter to get through money tried to read Lena and her friends part was funny lol and the times with the King hehe other then that just boring also her past didnt get revealed until at the very last volume which was crap and the story ended like that i want 1-2 more chapters to see what happend next

In a fantastical epic sort of way. I think you have to really like war plot stories sorta like Red River but with a lot less romance. I don't really think that was he best manga to compare it to but it was one of the first to pop into my head in comparison. Idk It's ending is pretty good I just wish it was less open ended concerning the main characters and what happens to them.
Really Nice

Initially, I found the story to be heading in a weird direction(her 'modern' life) but when the story developed, it was really great and everything. But I personally felt that the ending was indeed rushed.. And I also wanted to see the King's and Lena's love blossoming... After all it's still a romance and shoujo(?) manhwa...

Really liked this story. It was hard for me to start it because it's just so dense but in the end I feel like I went on a long and rewarding journey with all its quirky characters.
With the best main points I can give, it's pretty heavily laden with war (inclusive of countless fights and killings, but not gory) with a medieval-ish time setting. There are quite a few characters and it can get a bit confusing if you're not on top of things. The mood is pretty dark during times of conflict but there's enough positive/comic relief to level it out a little - it is semi-realistic in showing elements of torture/consequences. However, the plot itself was pretty amazing, I was phenomenally surprised with how much things made sense. I really did not expect much from a seemingly simple story centered around a "prophecy" and fate. Also the romance is really subtle, I was waiting for it forever but it comes in very tiny gestures and mostly towards the end (so don't worry it's still there - it gets cut short though :\). And I did like how it ended even though it was rushed. Rather than disappointing me, it just made me sad that I had completed it. Last thing - The female lead was great and one of the best, as people have mentioned. Truly a strong character, one that I think should be an iconic hero of strength, skill and a determined/calm mentality - and I think it means a lot more that she's a girl and has androgynous beauty. She's also just plain bad-ass.
I consider this a potential classic because it was just so elaborate and unique. I recommend it if you're up for adventure and don't mind a lot of action. This is a quality gender-bender

I love it, and most of that stems from my love for the female lead. She's amazing, personality wise and in terms of strength. Just- the ending, Eh. And also, why isn't their a "androgynous female lead" category in Baka updates? It fits here hah.

Marathoned this series for a night and half a day. That's why I hate revenge and war-themed stories. There's ALWAYS those super annoying people who are obviously tools of war, and the other annoying people who are just there to pester me until the end. You can never stop reading because you want to see everyone get what's coming to them :/ and even then, I'm not satisfied. Lena saves the series though, she is one of the best heroines I have ever seen. Not even love can stop this lady!
Haha, even though I sound super pissed off I actually liked this. Would have liked an epilogue though.

Amen to that.
The end of the manhwa is basically SCREAMING "Yeah, yeah, we got axed ! Life is a b*tch."
So here you go, what could have been an awesome development on 4 or 5 volumes became a 2-chapters-long sprint. I didn't know it had been axed before I read it, so I was basically thinking WTF IS HAPPENING during the whole last volume. And I'm still thinking it's too bad. It could have been great till the end.
Regarding the rest of the story, I think it was fairly good. Not mindblowing, but very enjoyable. And, honestly, the heroin is kinda epic, and totally refreshing...
Damn ! I was actually looking forward to the new releases when I was reading it. Damn you manhwa-axing-committees ! (whatever that may be...)
