Read this in 2021. A beautifully, well written and illustrated story

Both leads are loveable and pretty real and deep.

Quite bittersweet at the end without much entertaining or funny or light hearted element in it.

A lovely gem

I had this on my "to read" list for ages. I rarely read Korean web comics since a lot of them seem overly long or never complete or go anywhere in a reasonable time frame. However, this was one complete and has one of my favorite tropes, so I jumped right in. I ended up reading all of this in one sitting against my better judgement.

I'm a huge sucker for friends to lovers and slow burning romances and this really hit the spot. The story does a good job showing how the two MCs became friends, how much they mean to each other, and why they're worried about messing up their friendship.

It certainly uses a few typical tropes and plot devices, but things are handled in a way that fits well with the slice of life vibe. No conflict or issue ever felt unnecessarily drawn out and the characters had a good level of self-awareness/self-reflection and willingness to communicate and improve.

Haven't read the side stories yet, but the main story as-is was just lovely.

It’s a very good story that focuses on friendship and relationships. I really like how the story is funny and has that scenes where you can learn something from it and use it in the future i guess.. but it’s definitely worth reading! Although the story of them is slow, its worth reading since you can see the growth of both them and how they matured

I Keep Coming Back

I’ve reread this one so many times. There’s something so bittersweet watching the confusion that comes from a friends to an unrequited love relationship. The way it showcases the fear of change, loneliness, and jealousy is very realistic.

The relationship is definitely a slow burn, but you see the reasons for both parties hesitance and their desire to keep everything the same. But also the reason it never can be the same. So cute. I definitely recommend it. I love their friendship and I love their love.

Best slice of life

The interactions are seriously cute and funny, but not in that cheesy shoujo way. It’s a beautiful story and the friendships are heartwarming that I couldn’t stop reading after I started.

More slice of life than drama

First and foremost, I am a sucker for the off the wrong foot/opposites attract type relationship
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Also her hoobae's grandparents are kinda ideal type for me and also matches the MC's relationship

The romance in this is great. It's a rather slow slow buildup.

Season Overview:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
First season is Do's pov mostly and her realization of her relationship to Hanwoo and what she wants out of it.
Second season is a mix of Hanwoo and Do's povs and Hanwoo coming to realize his feelings.
Third season is the maturation as well as trials a lot of couples come across.

Overall its a really sweet webtoon. I think the drama part of this was done very well, not overly exaggerated like you would find in most manhwas. It does a great job of portraying a variety of characters as well as college/post-college life.

Also Kdrama coming soon HYPE

Promising at start but it turned out to be over mellow

I kinda enjoyed it at start. It was fun and cute. I also like the monologue of the characters which are actually one of the selling points of the manhwa. The characters are also neatly drawn and cute but as someone who hates love triangle I couldn't help but hating the female MC more and more as I read more chapters. She is too over mellow dramatic and her regrets didn't help either. I found her too dumb and oblivious, like typical shoujo female lead if being compare to shoujo manga. Well, She has more awareness of her surrounding which is good, but some drama could be ended early, but without solving it the author keeps introducing another drama after another that make the drama fells like dragged way too long than it actually is and how she became helpless yet couldn't say anything frustrated me out instead than being eager to read the next chapter. I stopped reading it at chapter 69 while actually knowing 'cute part' may come along little more and come back to its nature. I just hate the female lead and kinda don't want to see this manhwa happy ending.

Reading the first side story, A Friend of Mine, BLEW MY MIND!
I really liked this webtoon, but that side story seriously sealed the deal for me.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Oh-hyung is the real MVP. He had feelings all along for Chanhee and we were none the wiser -- honestly NOBODY would have known if the author hadn't drawn this side story. Even during the entire duration of the side story, all the way up until the last few pages, I was like "wow this bromance is so sweet!".

BUT IT'S ACTUALLY LOVE! It isn't explicit and it's only subtly implied. If you don't agree for whatever reason then you really don't get the point of this side story. Like, that "Unexpected Feelings" tag IS FOR OH-HYUNG. As far as narratives go, Oh-hyung is that "savior" or "joker" character that helps other characters and assists with plot progression. I'm glad that the author gave him such a backstory and made it so heartwarming because usually these types of characters are not "important" enough for development.

Anyway, in the end how Oh-hyung said he'll write a story about "an idiot's crush". --> "He does nothing but watch a girl he likes all the time. [...] The main character has a huge crush on a girl... but the girl has no idea, and has a crush on someone else." Especially love it when Chanhee gets embarrassed saying that Oh-hyung is writing about him. "Who says it's about you?"

LOL, seriously my heart is so conflicted. I love it that he accepts his "loving from afar" friend position. Yet at the same time, it sucks that he doesn't get his own happy ending. I'll just have to console myself that he's truly okay with the way things are. :')

I don't know why people are mentioning Cheese in the Trap, because this webtoon doesn't even have much to do with psychology. I think it's the "being in college" part, but that's all the similarities I'm getting.

Love love love the art and the warm vibe of this webtoon. Give it a read if you have time.

Not your typical Korean romantic drama

This is one of the super rare romance story that doesn't stop when the main couple get together, and, as a bonus, gets much better after that point.

The author also managed to eliminate the love rival without making him into an asshole, but instead a very likeable guy.

Both MCs eventually grew into the perfect boyfriend/girlfriend material for each other and the author did a good job showing that without relying on the usual romantic tropes.

I'll be looking forward to future work from this author, regardless of genre.
