An epic love story!

I loved reading this manga, it gave me a satisfied joyful feeling at the end. The love and hate relationship Suzuka & Yamato had really felt realistic which made it more meaningful and enjoyable to read. The story was wonderful, there was alot of sad heart wrenching moments as well as amazing cheerful moments that just leave a smile on your face. I recommend this manga to anyone who wants to relax on a sunday afternoon reading a love story.

In regards to the ending which had some mix feelings. I believe if you read this manga for the love aspect you will definately like it very much. Realistically not everyone can have everything they want in life, so its great to be reminded that love conquers all no matter if your life is not the way you want it.

Beautiful ending

I don't know what sort of ending some of you were looking for. Based on the events that transpired and the intense affection the two lead characters shared for one another, this is a very plausible ending. I got teary eyed by the ending for multiple reasons: 1) The manga ended, which was really choked me up, 2) It ended on a very happy note, with the lovers finally not fighting like they did for the first 3/4 of the manga, and there are more but if I say anymore I would be spoiling the story (although there are already blatant spoilers in the rest of these comments - be warned people!). Anyway This is one manga that is going to continue to choke me up with emotion everytime I think about it, so everytime that happens I need to read a pure shounen manga like Naruto or Bleach to dumb my mind down. All I can say is that I hope I personally end up in as loving a relationship as Yamato and Suzuka have going by the end of this manga, and I wish the same to all of you. Everyone deserves that kind of love.

Very enjoyable comedy/romance manga with some sports on top

This manga is just plain great. The art is amazing, the story turns surprisingly mature for a supposed shounen manga and the pacing is great until the last 2 or so volumes. Character designs and personalities are unique and great for the most part, the main character is generic and kind of lame (like so often), but an amazing supporting cast makes more than up for that. The romance and comedy parts are very enjoyable, depressing scenes to bursts of laughter, you have it all wrapped up in this package.

However, nothing is perfect, neither is this manga. The rivalries are absolutely laughable for the most part and the last 2 or so volumes seemed a bit overly rushed (right after a very surprising and story-turning event takes place).

Overall you're in for an almost mindblowing experience as this manga definitely deserves its rating and delivers on so many fronts that just about everyone will have a good time reading through this, read it!

just finished this one in almost one sitting and damn this is definetly own of the best love storys ive read so far, although ive to say that i didnt enjoy reading the 1st 72 ch. too much as ive watched the anime beforehand but even still they were great, and the things that happen afterwards are just great

if i had the time i would be going to re-read it instantly but too bad live doesnt agree with me on that one atm, anyway u can be sure im going to do so ones ive got the time^^

i know some of u might say its not worth a 10 but i just cant bring myself to rate it with something lower, especially since the ending was such a great one, i loved the last chapters and almost started crying when i saw fuka (ah damn shes just too cute), it was just perfect IMO

but now im also going to selfishly ask for a sequel damn it, i want to see fuka growing up and entering track and field with all her genes lol (guess i really will have t re-read this one, its just too touching)

Was imo one of the best endings in a Romance series (even a bit of a Harem in my eyes) so far. It's also one of the few believable ones I've read so far smile

Main character ruins everything

The art is amazing and the supporting characters have some great chemistry with one another. The main character, however, is the biggest stalker-wuss on the face of the planet. He is the embodiment of neediness and should be dragged out and shot for being a disgrace to all males. His presence severely deducts points from this otherwise decent manga.
