Description
Official English: INKR, Azuki

The stage is set in the prestigious Private Joshi (girls) Oka High School, more commonly known as Joshi High. It became co-educational a few years ago, but females still heavily outnumber the males. So small is the number of men that it could be easily counted. While one would think guys would be pampered in such a harem school, the reality is far from heavenly. It is the world of female domination.

AHAHAH!!!

This manga is hilarious, with really bad pairings. Okok, I've got it, the True pairings in my head are

Munechika x Azusa (Makes way more sense that Asuza x Rise, seriously. Munechika's the only guy with enough patience to take his crap and shove it back.)
Rise x Akamaru (He treats her right, so ahaha, of couse it's not canon. This is shoujo!)

But I think I can understand how the mangaka made it so that Akamaru doesn't end up with Rise. You see, Akamaru only entered the picture when Azusa started to get interested in Rise. He's like some weird NTR lover. But he is. HAWT.

And that's something that no one can ever take away from him. Except maybe time.

Fanart of Older!Akamaru, anyone? I do suspect that the mangaka kept Akamaru single so we can crush on him without a guilty conscience? Or for herself?

Yeah that's how I describe this manga. When I first read a few chapters, I was like "Oh my god, these students are TOTALLY insane!" but then I grew to love it. This is definitely NOT my favorite series, but guys.. just read it for hot bishies! LOL XD

-------------------
Kay. So I just read the ending of this manga and........
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
SHE ENDED UP TOGETHER WITH MIZUTANI!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it! I mean I have read tons of manga, and the stories always end with the main girl and the first guy she met together. I have never come across such a perfect character like Akamaru. HE IS JUST PERFECT ASDFGHJK. Why.. Why am I falling and rooting for the second guy, “shoulder-to-cry-on” guy in EVERY SHOUJO MANGA? Akamaru doesn't deserve getting all hurt and rejected by that lame girl lead!

Well, what the hell! I will not continue to read this series anymore. Also, I will give this series a 4 instead of my old rating 7.5. ONLY BECAUSE OF AKAMARU. THAT'S IT!

I really enjoy reading this manga. It is something different and refreshing. We all read about male dominance in shoujo but hey, it can be the other way aroung, right?
I understand why it is so disliked by some people- it IS crazy, it IS unrealistic and there are quite a lot of extreme scenes where the women go all mad about guys. But if you can get used to it, it is really enjoyable and funny.
However, the romance is rather slow, so don't read this if you're just looking for original romance. Still, I would reccomend this, if you want to read really crazy comedy with a pieces of romance and a lot of material to think about.

It is totally unrealistic (which, most of the time, I can stand because, hey, its manga,) but the bullying level is just way too extreme for my taste. It makes light of rape, which is a really serious offense, even if it is done by girls. I also hate Mizutani! He is totally selfish and doesn't seem to appreciate the extreme lengths the heroine goes to to protect him. She already does so much for him, even though she does not benefit at all (which is a dumb decision on her part), and he is impudent enough to demand more help! Ugh, he just makes me angry! Enough of my ranting, one positive thing I have to say about this manga is that I really enjoyed the few panels where the mangaka drew the characters with those really ugly faces when they were mad (this aspect wasn't like a typical shoujo manga where everyone always seems so perfect and it made me laugh) Reading it, however, even though I didn't finish it, was a total waste of my time.

i mean really just.. omigawd. i didnt expect to love it this much im being too happy about it. it only sucks ass that it is licensed but ayway on with the story.

its actually a plus pointer for me since it started from the male point of view but then it reverted to the female which is also cool to keep his side a mystery. the art is atucally oretty good too and the boys didnt all look the same to me and though they were all generic bishounen types theyre all still pretty likeable. actually i like them all, munechika, mizutani, akemaru smile the heroine, i like her too she doesnt cry that mu7ch ive counted, ive read up to c23 and she only cried more or less 5 times and in those situations i wouldve cried to and shes pretty strong not physically strong as in Sunako Nakahara (YamaNade) but more like Tsukushi Makino (BOF) smile sucks only that i dont remember her name. the only trouble about this is that the girls are too horny and the morals are on the down low that you have to really put aside a part of your mind while youre reading this and while that part is far, far away from you only then can you know that you are going to enjoy this cause there are alot of fanservice and sexual undertones that even the untrained eye can see.

It's absolutely hilarious and the art is really nice too!
The comedy in this is perfect and the change in art style at certain points to emphasize the comedy makes it even funnier! I think it's definitely worth a try.
At first I was put off by the negative reviews but when I actually tried it I loved it so much!
I don't find the female domination thing unrealistic or off-putting at all, tbh, it's a manga and plus it's all there for the story and the excitement! Although the story did have some bits which I was kinda like 'err ok then' at, it only really lasted a bit and then everything pulled itself together again.

Alot of people had negative comments but for me it`s fascinating.
First of all, it`s the first manga I read that had female sexual dominance and it`s very interesting.
In reality, it`s actually not weird to have girls as horny as those. C`mon, if you`re a girl growing up in a protective environment, even in an all girls school and you`re a teen in this era, won`t your sexual desires be unsatisfied to the point that you`d do all those things?
And it really is an unusual shoujo manga. It doesn`t have the typical heroine that just waits to give up her virginity to some playboy she fell in love with. Okitsu isn`t overly fashion conscious and she can make 'those' faces (like Nika from Switch Girl). It`s absolutely hilarious.
The portrayal of male characters here might be the biggest issue that you guys will find disturbing and disgustingly unrealistic but this manga has a lot of truth in it just like I said. Did you think only girls would stoop to prostitution to live? The harsh dialogue, verbal and sexual abuse, everything is almost as realistic and imperfect as it can be.
The parts that I loved the most is it`s sexually explicitness and honesty, the weird sensei, the perverted student council and basically Akamaru ♥
I don`t like Mizutani (it makes him seem like the typical girly/bullied/oppressed heroine) and the little guy stalking Akamaru.

Anyway, it`s a very likable manga for those with unique tastes. If you`re bored with random typical shoujos, this is the best read.

I cant wait for the next chapters. ♥

Challenging and Interesting

"9" for
- Unusual but break-through typical Shoujo
- The author dare enough and challenge enough to draw a plot like this, for me is OK. Because this is 'manga' world, the world everything can happens, and for me, one of the reason I read manga bcoz I can see, can imagine many things that I cannot do in the real world! (maybe to satisfy my dark side heheh)
- Cool drawing especially male body

The "minus 1 point" is for
- Too flexible plot and imbalance plot sequences of love-triangle, I mean, from Volume1-6, focus on Rise and Mizutani, then from Volume 7 focus on Rise and Akamaru while Mizutani appear very less. If the author want love triangle, the author must balance the weight put on each characters. Focus on someone continously about 7 volumes then move focus to another person about almost 5 volumes, it makes me feel curious about the unfocused character and it starts annoying. Cool love triangle must carefully maintain the balance about characters, don't focus on each character for too long.

This manga is good for:
- If you're OK with smut
- If you feel bored with typical shoujo mangas and want something challenging
- If you like Harem-style mangas
- If you're OK with some mature, sexual harassment content
- If you used to have perverted thoughts come into your mind when you see a cool guy and sometimes you think that you wanna do xxx things with him, then you will see that this manga is not too much for you to try to read it. (Sorry for straightforward words but I just try to tell you what the nature of this manga looks like)

Can't Stand it, but...

...if you can get through all the extreme scenarios of female domination, this really could be a good rom-com read.
I can't get through it. There are many scenarios of girls cornering/chasing after a cute guy and making him have sex with all of them, etc., but this isn't really what got to me. The portrayals of female psychology in here aren't inaccurate (I thought) at all, but they represented a very ugly side that isn't enjoyable to watch. For example, sex doesn't involve rape necessarily, but might involve males treating every girl like a princess and seducing them first when they approach for sex. Guys are allowed to vow themselves to one girl, fulfill marriage rituals, and get punished very heavily for cheating. Girls are portrayed as sexually active, but also naively devoted to the idea of love and trying to force "love" out of the few men in the school.
The main theme isn't sex, but jealousy and (to some degree) fake/real love. So basically imagine a host club females go to, where guys don't get paid but instead get punished if they don't satisfy every girl. The story isn't completely one dimensional and both the male and female leads can have interesting sides to them. But...this can be hard to read.

edit: to add, the quality and depth of the story is really ok and not too cliche. I really do like the comedy parts where girls aren't being complete monsters, and the male lead really is pretty cute.
