this was the first BL manga that i read knowing what i was getting into, and it is still of the best i have ever read. The romance is so cute, that art is awesome, and the characters are really loveable. The author also managed to avoid the uke/seme stereotypes, which really bother me in most other shounen-ai/yaoi manga

Honestly really sweet

This manga is really beautiful in a sweet, understated way. While other mangas are full of sex, adulterers, and complicated relationships, it's really refreshing to read a manga based on pure love. Wished it was a little longer, but this manga is so achingly sweet. Something that reminds people of their first loves, ahhh, those bittersweet moments. I'm not sure if it deserves a 10, per say, while I would rate other masterpieces/long, developed series also 10, but this series really sticks in your mind. There's something about their pure love that's so precious, something that I would treasure in my heart for quite a while. Also, I really, really enjoyed it the read. 10/10 for me.

It has been quite some time since I've last read something really good like this manga. The plot is simple, story is short, yet it's perfect in almost every way. A bit more can be done about the relationship between Shino( the female one) and Seryou, but besides that, everything is perfect. Art is beautiful.

Well, since the first time I read this I knew I'm reading shonen-ai, so I'm not expecting sex scenes at all and i'm not bothered by it really. This story has a good plot and original idea, but it stopped at "awww so sweet" for me. Maybe it reminds me of Dear Green -Hitomi no Ouwa-, a warm and simple story I'd read at evening with a cup of tea, will make me smile, but not enough to make me experience emotional roller coaster to make the manga memorable enough, especially when you've read uncountable shonen ai titles in your life. I'll remember the title and the basic plot, but not the character's name, the detailed dialogue or the scenes.

Maybe for my personal tastes, the lack of art is what makes me heart to relate with the story. I know most Yaoi/Shoujo art don't put attention into details (like background, toning, shading, sceneries, etc etc), but at least the posture and expressions could have been better/consistent. There's a difference between a cold/expresionless character and a character whose expression wasn't drawn fully, and while reading this manga I get the impression that it was the second.

I'd have give 9 if the art was better, but then I decide on 8. Still, this is a recommended read.

PERFECT. from the time I read this until now, no shounen-ai genre that beat this one. Even The romance here beats all that so-called shoujo-manga I've read. None of them leave impression as strong as this one does. This one is definitely MUST-READ

The Best

I have to say that this, in my opinion, is the best love story ever! Whether it's shounen ai or shoujo, I think this has really topped all of the others on my personal list. I really can't find another romance manga that is so nicely done as this one in such a short dose. The characters are superb (both leads are bishounens that have charm, charisma, and are also very likable). The author seriously knows how to execute their relationship perfectly. Nothing feels too cliché and nothing feels forced. Not to sound sadistic, but the misunderstandings that were made were perfect. They tugged on my heart multiple times in the greatest of ways. I would do nothing to change this manga. Don't even get me started about the art! TAKARAI Rihito is one of the best (if not my favorite) mangakas I know. Her characters are always so artistic yet simple. One last thing! Neither of the protagonists necessarily follow the path of uke x seme. That's probably a huge factor as to why I love this story. I'd definitely recommend this manga to anyone I know (even if they don't usually enjoy the idea of shounen ai) because it's just that amazing!

The perfect manga...

I know that's a bit of an exaggeration, but this has to be one of the best BL mangas I've ever read. It's just so sweet and the characterizations are just amazing. Every character felt real and relatable and lovable. I love the tug and pull of emotions with the both of them struggling to define how they feel about each other and what their relationship is really all about. It's very well written and the art gives the proper amount of emotion to every scene. Just a brilliant, brilliant manga that is now one of my favorites. I can't imagine anything else better for not just a BL fan, but a romance fan to read. I highly recommend it.

I loved this series so much, first of all because of the art <3..
TAKARAI Rihito's art so much, it adds to the story..
i love how both main characters are so innocent, and how they dont struggle very much on admitting their true feelings towards eachother.

After having gone through SO MANY WORKS... it's really hard to find something you haven't read before and which strikes you as amazing. Yet, this is just such a manga. It stands out even amongst shounen ai works. I've found that to love a manga it needs to be long (for the vast majority of the time), but this short work is wonderful. It is very enticing and a page turner. My heart beats uncontrollably fast, slow, or sad when I'm reading it. It is in my top 10 unfinished mangas. I was surprised how well it pulls at one's heartstrings even in the first volume. The mangaka truly has done a fabulous job.

The artwork, though not what I'm used to, works for the plot. The plot is... very good. I remember at the end of one chapter I was dying for the next. It's very exciting to read this. Also, the story has a beauty that is not distinctly shounen ai. It is the beauty of wonderful storytelling, and every worthwhile manga has it, regardless of genre. Overall, it's a very good addition to one's shounen ai collection.

Totally spontaneous. I love it. Bishies are pretty and good looking, plus they look quite sexy in their archery gear. At the end of the chapter called Wednesday, I nearly hyperventilated because I was like, "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, and KYAHHHHHH." The two boys are so adorable with each other and it's just fantastic. I highly recommend it because I don't give on a solid 10 rating unless it's that good.
