Description
Brilliant and overachieving, Misaki Ayuzawa is the President of the Student Council at Seika High School, formerly a boys' school. Unfortunately, most of the students are still male and stuck in their slovenly habits, so man-hating Misaki really socks it to 'em in an attempt to make the school presentable to attract more female students. But what will she do when the sexiest boy in school finds out that after school, Misaki works in a maid cafe.

At first yes it is great, the art is nice, but after reading many chapter, i think it didn't to addictive, and somehow boring.
The storyline keep repeated about how the man become a prince to help the girl..
Well, i'll keep reading it for now, i hope it will be interesting in the next chapter.. (/-_-)/(/-_-)/

I dunno if it's only me but isn't it that after the weak and crybaby heroines , now we have a trend for the ones that are strong but super dense...
Overall what we have here we already saw in many more titles..yes IT IS funny and interesting, but without a solid plot development just how long will it last..?

well FINALLY theres some conflict in it >_> and now there actual development in takumi and misaki's relationship. chapter 23 ftw. well, it took a while but now its getting better (finally after a bunch of chapters full of...you get my point XD) so I suggest that if you were not impressed with it before then the recent chapters could probably make you happier. just a suggestion. Very impressed with the plot twist at the moment, good job.

Such good pairings. I really like them. The scanlating is a bit low though just like the Special A. But patience is a virtue. Ayuzawa is so cool, such strong willed person. Usui is also superb! Cool and compose.
one of the favs!!

Okay so... I read a few comments after me and I'm redoing my review because it seems previously, I got biased due to nostalgia.
First of all, this was the first shoujo anime I watched, and the first manga I ever read. I'm very attached to it. But of course, when I started reading it, it wasn't complete. It's been more than an year since it's completion, I suppose?
I agree with some reviews that it was horribly dragged. Stuff were put together in messed up way, the end didn't make sense. I mean there was so so much of drama and preparation for Misaki to go to Britain. And even Usui was presented as the centre of some sort of upcoming chaos, but then poof! The duke suddenly comes to know that his grandson is there and everything is over? When I looked at this manga recently, I found many such flaws. Like how long it took for Misaki to confess, or how the thing about Miyabigaoka was nothing but a means to drag the series further.
Maybe because now I know more about these overused plots than I did back then, or the fact that I'm getting tired of drama do I think that this series really should have ended much earlier.
But God how I love this. I just can't seem to hate it all. Misaki was a tsundere so can't blame her for always blushing but at some point, I wanted to slap her for pushing Usui away. I mean If you don't want him, give him to me girl!
I love Usui. But not the squealy fangirl type of love. It's how he is drawn and characterized. His portrayal as the perfect perverted alien was great. How much of a tease he was, and yet how sweet. He is my first and the biggest shoujo crush. I guess it's also because I love guys who are a tease XD and damn *^* he was unbelievably perfect in everything he did.
Misaki, well, I respect her will and the effort she put in to support her family, but very often she was a big idiot. And even though she realized her mistake, she'd do something similar yet again. But I guess that's only expected from a tsundere.
All in all, the manga was GREAT till the school festival arc and then it took a U-turn. But I loved how cute the romance was at times. And even if it's repititive, draggy, weak, messy..... It wasn't so when I read it as my first manga. Even if the me now would NEVER want to re read every single chapter, I still do peek at few chapters I liked. This manga is a good start for newcommers. And for me, it's love. So I don't care what it's like, I'm just attached to Kaichou as Maid-Sama!

Hihihi At first when i saw it was already completed I was like " I dont wanna read it because i dont want it to end" But as i finished it kinda disappointed because, it is such an amazing manga and its finished. But then again Im kinda happy for them and overall its so hilarious and very romantic, even if they don't do lovey dovey stuffs. Hahaha
I really love MISAKI and TAKUMI both, they're very strong willed and independent. Im actually rooting Igarashi Tora for Ayuzawa because he's so HOOOT!! <3. I don't know but I cant believe that its actually over and Its one of the best manga I have read. I can't get enought of reading it again and again. ))) Highly Recommended

i had to reread it all over again recently because it just ended...
i started reading this a long time ago, but when the main characters got toegether, i thought it would end...but then it went through some patches of hilariously funny things and at the end maybe there was momentum...
however, when it dragged,it REALLY dragged, and a reader could not figure out why on earth some stuff was inserted.
overall, the story was okay. the ending was good for what was needed...and it left the heroine intact if a person wanted a relatively strong(?) heroine (though after the england sequence, one had to wonder) it might've been the length of the series that was dragging, but the ending did tie up a lot of ends...i think. (time skip endings are always frustrating in a sense) yes, there are huge gaping holes in a LOT of places, but the story is pretty enjoyable

I'm used to loved it for the beginning, after 9 volumes, I still try to read and hope it will be surprising me, but meh it was pretty much boring. too late and looks the author missing the purpose of this story. end up with 6/10 just bcos the art is good.

He never gives up no matter her situation. Usui keeps going and she always insults him in the deepest way she knows how. I love that about Usui a man that never gives in or up know matter what to bad there is no one really like this LOL
