Description
Her whole life, Hikari Hanazono has been consumed with the desire to win against her school rival, Kei Takishima--at anything. He always comes out on top no matter what he does, and Hikari is determined to do whatever it takes to beat this guy!
At age 6 Hikari lost to Kei in an impromptu wrestling match. Now, at 15, Hikari joins "Special A," a group of the top seven students at a private academy, for the opportunity to trounce the guy who made her suffer her first defeat. However, Kei's feelings towards Hikari are different.

I don't see whats the hype about. I mean, its really gotten stupid lately. At first it was decent, but now its not even that. Yeah, but the person right below me said things perfect. I really agree.
The first few volumes were appealing, but as I read on, I realized that it's just another manga stuffed with cliches, and has the most dreaded one - extremely ditzy shojo girl with the princely shojo guy. I got bored of this manga soon. However, it's not bad and has its merits, but I think this manga is given way too much credit.
It was fun at first, a very refreshing read from the dozens of other mangas that I have been reading that really weren't that of great quality, specially in the art. Anyways, I thought it would be different but as the story when on it kinda did the whole stereotyping thing, that true would have been a usual thing for any manga however, the first few chapters really did give a promising start, anyway the story dragged on allowing you to predict whats going on...
this is a typical shoujo manga, where she is slowly starting to realize that she might (and i said might) likes the guy,
while the guy already likes her but she's too dense to notice. -__-;; But, he is really sweet when it comes to her. He will go far for her.
But it is taking a little long for the story to progress.

i absolutely love this manga! if you like VERY comedic love stories, then this one is DEFINATELY for you! sure, it may be the typical dense girl and guy liking the dense girl, but it's quite interesting to watch the plot unfold!

this is sooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!! >.< takishima and hikari r such a cute couple!!!! its a typical story about a dense girl and a guy that likes her and later on she realizes she likes him too, and blablabla but its really funny and its soooo cute!!!! its uber kawaii!!! it is a must-read and it is sooo good that i am going to collect it. i already have the first 15 volumes!! i need volume 16*__* lol xD but seriously, u have to read it.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. it's funny at times, but sometimes heartbreaking when kei totally gives up on the fact that hikari would love him. it's like funny at one part then sad at the other. but it's very worth reading although i think hikari is really really slow to realise that kei likes her. and what's with her deal about "if i confess, i would lose", she's so stupid. haha
The manga is really worth reading. The story seems to be a bit slow but the humor is quite good. Yeah it makes me laugh hard in every chapters.
It's not like most of other shoujo where a weak/silly/crybaby girl comes with a perfect cool boy or so. Hikari is strong and intelligent. She just goes dense when it's love and that makes all the fun here. And besides Kei is really funnily childish while hanging around with Hikari and his SA friends.

Okay this manga is different (in my opinion) at first the plot is good then the story gets a little bit slow in the middle but the plot has definately caught up again. I really think this manga is unique in it's art and way of thought and humor. A must read for me but I cannot say the same for everyone else!! ♥
