A fun read, IMO.

I think this is a fun series. Just to make note, it may be confusing at the beginning because there is a zero chapter that may serve as the introductory chapter, or the pilot of the series. It started as a oneshot (chapter 0) first, and is now serialized in the magazine.

RE-AF-FIRMED!!!

Well, after reading all the reviews all the other people thought of this manga i am reaffirmed as to what to say about it. I was going to give this an 8 now I have a whole different view.
This manga isn't a stand alone manga, although the other idiots reviewing this don't know this. This manga isn't a manga made to be a story, it's for fans of Seo Kouji's past work... I'll Explain

What he wanted from this, is to give back and give A: Another of his manga's to be preoccupied with. B: More of his wonderful artwork Ba: Fanservice; C: Give people a different love story to look forward to. He has written similar stories in the same Genre, i'm sure he's testing the waters of a different Genre.

Finally to the manga... When is started reading, i thought, this is ridiculous, then as if i understood the Mangaka's intentions, i started laughing. The whole Demon thing, the whole Angel thing... Was funny, I'm not stupid enough that the Mastermind of Suzuka, had lost his OWN mind. I've accepted that Seo likes to delve into his past models, but i think thats what makes him great.
Suzuka, Yuzuki, Lucia
Honoka, Nanami, Rie
They are similar, But so what, They are allot like the same actor playing different roles. Because I think that they do have changes.
Rie is not the nervous type, just nice, unlike Honoka
Lucia is allot like Suzuka but looks like Yuzuki.
I Think this is a fun Manga, it's a little Ridiculous, but if you haven't read any of his work's, First of all SHAME ON YOU!!! Second you should, and Third You will enjoy it if you are just familiar with his work. Although you should probably read Suzuka first.
Also i strongly believe that Seo San's favorite work is Suzuka, He always adds his little Suzuka eccentricity's to his manga.
One last thing before my Score... Levia looks like Yui... There i said it, i give this a Perfect 10!!!

Utterly disgusting

I almost finished the whole chapter. Do you want to know how bad it was? I laughed through Ichi the Killer. I giggled through Death Note. This manga made me want to throw up. I literally had to kneel down by the toilet because I felt nauseous.

edit: An elaboration on how horrible it was: At first I thought this manga was a parody. As in... It was written to make fun of other romance mangas? No such chance. It's just. That. Awful.

My guess? The mangaka finally went insane, or is experiencing a late onset of constipation. There's really no other explanation for something this terrible being written.

Kimi no Iru Machi + To Love Ru = This

This is what you get if Seo Kouji wrote To Love Ru.

Rie is the exact same archetype as Kanzaki and Sairenji. Basically the kind meek and shy girl that the main character has a crush on but doesn't confess.

Lucia however is more of a tsundere than Yuzuki or Lala, who happen to be those hyper genki girls that make the main character's boring ass life, more meaningful.

Regardless, new girl always wins. School crush never does. In fact, given the title of this manga, it's pretty obvious. Nevertheless, it is an entertaining read. Recommended.

This mangaka is kinda getting on my nerves by now. Three of his works, Princess Lucia, Kimi no Iru Machi, and Half Half, have the same character designs for the main female character. It feels almost as if I'm being cheated a bit... Anyways, the manga seems really hectic in the beginning with it starting with the main character already knowing everyone, all the details, blah... Of course the Love Triangle is present... again.

It's kinda like Sumomomo Momomo (only difference is the fantasy setting). But I will read it anyway because I like the art style of the mangaka and sometimes it's funny too.

Well, I felt like I missed something at the beginning. It's like a random start then it gets deep and stuff. Maybe the mangaka wanted to give the idea of how the idea of how the romance will be because it doesn't even... build up or whatever how their relationship got so deep... I might read the second chapter... maybe...

*My rating scale is out of 5.

Don't judge a manga by its first chapter (especially so harshly), that's like judging a book by its cover. And definitely don't go into reading a series having so many expectations, it will usually only lead to disappointment. An open mind will lead to better enjoyment.

With that out of the way, you can tell I don't agree with anything in the first comment. The manga is pretty interesting, the characters are unique (enough) and the scenario/premise is mostly new. We'll have to see what the mangaka will do with the fantasy theme.

I look forward to reading the upcoming chapters.

*This is not a review, just a preliminary (counter) opinion. And the rating below does not reflect what I think of the manga, it is only used for organization purposes.

As the guys blow said is seo kouji a one trick pony? Well after reading the frist cahpter maybe, maybe not. With this one i think he is going for a classic harem, romance, with ecchiness, and no drama which is hard for guy like him were the drama is key elment in both of his top 2 mangas. (suzka and kimi no machi) well we will see if this pans out for him or not. also not enough to rate just yet

Honestly, i'm starting to believe that the author is a one trick pony. it's kimi no machi allover again. some different drawn characters , some supernatural stuff etc. but in the end its all coming down to a gruff main character, some unrequitted love and a secret crush on someone else. Its excruciatingly boring and pointless.
