Description
Liola—the best assassin in his world—has vowed to kill no more. He was being chased by an assassination organization when he accidentally dropped into a parallel universe: through a dimensional gate and into poor teenager Kaiser's apartment. Instead of going to the government shelter for lost dimensional travelers, Liola and Kaiser wind up going to school together.
Liola has been trying his best to live the life of an ordinary person, but after certain things happen one after the other, he begins to realize that being an ordinary person could be harder than being an assassin.

Good For The Most Part

I should've written a review immediately after I finished reading cause now I can't remember the fine details. It has the usual Yu Wo charm- Fun, memorable and OP characters, Unusual plot and unusual solutions to said plot, plot twists, coincidences up the wazoo, detailed action sequences and even a bit of heartwarming scenes thrown in there.
It's better than 1/2 Prince, about equal with Eclipse Hunter(In terms of tone but I like EH much more) and below Sun Knight, No Hero and Dominions End. If you're binging Yu Wo novels for the first time I'd start with this and 1/2 prince as they're two of her earlier works and it shows. GOD is in this category too, but it's in its early translations. Then move on to her more recent and better novels(i.e Sun, Hero, End). Throw in Gong Hua somewhere for a taste of a less comedic story.
As for this one, it kinda lost me at the end- The MC does something stupid and forcibly comedic in the final volumes of the story and it ensures that the last few volumes are filled with misunderstandings and annoyances that I felt were artificially injected into the story. I have a huge dislike for plots where the main conflict can be solved by the characters sitting down and discussing their problems over tea. If you don't care about these types of plot elements then you'll enjoy this novel a lot more than I did.

Much better than 1/2 Prince and inferior to Legend of the Sun Knight.
The plot is full of clishes and tropes but it still manages to keep the reader's attention and some anticipation about the story progretion.

As a previous commenter said... this LN does have quite a few cliche elements to it but then again Yu Wo brings a deft touch even in handling the most cliched story tropes. It is better written than 90% of the LNs out there without too much floweriness and with enough humor and liveliness to the plot to keep a reader engrossed.
Kudos also to the translation team who have done a GREAT job of bringing the original spirit of the source material to the translated version. They've made it a pleasure to read while still keeping the flavour of Yu Wo's writing style. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good read.

Surprisingly good: cliche and complex simultaneously

I can only really describe Kill no More as cliche in the best way possible. I'm actually not really a fan of cliches, tropes and whatnot which is why I put off KnM for so long after reading the first volume or so since it just seemed like tropes galore (cute, clumsy glasses girl; insanely powerful, calm and cool guy). However, this series is so much more than that. The world is very well developed -- mecha, knights and magic simultanously exist in the same world (it sounds a bit like overkill but it is handled very smoothly); at the same time technology also plays a major part (eg. healing 'Maxuns'); magic is explained, not just assumed that it's just always existed. The plot, although not as focused as some of Yu Wo's other stuff (Legend of Sun Knight, No Hero) is coherent and still ties up loose ends. Seemingly insignificant details are worked into the story at later parts, which makes for a detailed, surprisingly complex reading experience.
What is really cool though, is the dynamic interaction between the characters. It's not a story about one character becoming super powerful and reaching their goals; it's about characters working together with one another and developing as a result of that, which is why I think the characters are so interesting to read about even though their individual characterisation might seem cliche. This character interaction and teamwork was what drew me to series like Tower of God, and so I was quite happy with the way it was portrayed here.
So basically, go in with an open mind, and keep on reading past a few volumes. It's not for someone looking for a masterpiece, but is a great humorous, lighthearted and entertaining thing to read to pass the time.
(For fans of Yu Wo, I think this is definitely at least 10 times better than 1/2 Prince, about half as good as Legend of Sun Knight, No Hero and about 80% as good as Eclipse Hunter; at least 1000 times better than any other popular shounen though. )
Edit: btw, you can read the English version at Japtem.com
