Hey, I'm looking for a manga with a female Protector/Guardian/Warrior. She must be rather mature, but have a deep/semi-deep past that'll keep most people interested. The best ways I can describe such a character is like the main protagonist in the song 'Killer Song' , by Maeda Jun and Yanagi Nagi. She can also be like Balsa from Seirei no Moribito or Erza from 'Fairy Tail', but I'd prefer if the character is still a TINY bit, lets say, 'Young, Naive and Foolish'. Last, but not least, she must be a badass! biggrin No Ecchi, Harems, Main Male Protag, and anything that screams 13yrs and younger please!

Hmm, I've been thinking about this series for awhile, but I've been quite hesitant about it. I've heard the bad points of the series and the good, and I'm not sure if I'm willing to sacrifice my time to read it than regret it later on. I guess I'll put this series on my reading list and I'll give it a try later. Thanks for the recommendation! ^^

Fate/Stay Night is a series I'll definitely try out one day! Ichi and Crimson Empire both seem interesting, so I'll read those at one point, but I've already read Immortal Rain and Superior and I loved those series! biggrin

I haven't read those you mentioned... so idk. But anyways:

9 Banme no Musashi maybe?

... geh what else... my mind's blank... >.>

7 Seeds has quite a few females that can fight.
1/2 Prince maybe?
Rasetsu no Hana
Vampire Juujikai but has a male lead

What else? There's more... I just can't remember... ><

As far as I remember Kurohime was rather ecchi (it kicks in after the first few volumes and gets really annoying).

You could try Kiba no Tabishounin - The Arms Peddler, it's totally awesome
I guess Otoyomegatari fits your request in a way

What exactly do you mean by no main male protagonist?

Huh. Just mentioned this one in a different "I'm Looking For" thread: Kimi wa Boku no Toriko Nare.

(The male lead fit that one, the female lead fits this one.)

The female lead in this manga is indeed both badass and 'Young, Naive and Foolish'.

I might give The Arms Peddler a try. It seems interesting ^^

And I meant there can be a male protagonist, but the story can't revolve around him. (Like a female protagonist's love interest or a male friend.)

I've actually heard about that manga before, but I was quite reluctant because of how they described the female protagonist. She seemed like a major airhead... well if she's badass I'll see how the first few chapters go. Thanks for the recommendation! ^^
