I'm looking for a historical manga/ manhwa/ etc. like Vagabond or Vinland Saga. This means an amazing main, who continues to prove his awesomeness again and again. It should be action packed, but if there is romance in it, that's a plus.
It doesn't have to be a seinen, but I prefer not reading yaoi, yuri, shounen/ shojo ai, nor hentai...
THANKS.

If I had to recommend one historical manga to read right now, this would be it.
Kingdom
Despite being shounen, this title is entertaining and worth giving at least the first chapter a read.

Ravages of Time is probably the only reinvented historical series I read.
Though, one of the author's philosophy is there isn't really a true history because history (back then) is written by the victors.
Ravages of Time is a story of the popular three kingdoms period in China.

Ares isn't historical. Ares has a medieval setting but it is fictional.

100% Kingdom and Historie.
Jin is also very good, awesome in a medical way, rather than fighting.
Its only got a chapter out but Agrippa is good.
Gamaran is very ordinary and slightly boring (seriously I was only reading because of mild curiosity, wouldn't have cared one bit if the mc had just died right there for no reason XD) up until chapter 63, then it becomes awesome....
For shounen/shoujo there's: Ares, Sengoku strays, Rurouni kenshin, Red river and Saver.

Hmm, Rurouni Kenshin also a historical setting. But I begged to differ that it is a historical series like Vagabond and or Vinland Saga (with actual historical people and events). Most of Rurouni Kenshin has no historical worth. There are some real historical people within the series, but I don't think it is enough to be on par with the two series you stated.

Quote from Tsubamex
And if you liked Jin, then I would recommend Nobunaga no Chef.
I would also highly recommend Shana oh Yoshitsune and it's sequel Shana Ou Yoshitsune: Genpei no Kassen

Thank you, for all the recommendations.
Are any of these completely scanned, and are any not getting scanned?

Joou no Hana and Akatsuki no Yona if you don't mind that the historical setting is at most... er... historically inspired.
If you're looking for something (more) historically accurate, I second Historie, Kingdom and Jin
Also, Shana oh Yoshitsune and Ichi.

Gonna second Historie since imho it is the closest you can get to the aforementioned titles. About Agrippa I read two volumes and I can say it's "cool", but the mangaka seemed more interested in making a competitions about who is the most awesome character in the manga than portraying a semi-plausible story.
Shin Angyo Onshi is also good. Gonna second it.
Adding: Kurogane.
