I'M looking for a manga/anime where the main character is injured because/for a friend or could have been prevented.

Example: Flow (sort of)

If it could have been prevented I'd rather not have the friend injured or killed.

NO: Hentai, Gender Bender, Lolicon, Shounen Ai or Yaoi.
