I am looking for romance manga where the male mc gets over some sort of traumatic past relationship and falls in love with the girl mc. I would like (if possible) for the story to be told from the girls POV and for the guy to be the one that has to overcome the trauma of the past relationship. If this isn't possible, then anything like this will be okay
I'm not talking about a simple breakup. I am talking more along the lines of the following:
~> Past lover dieing/Suicide
~> Being left at the altar
~> Past lover (of many years) cheating
~> Divorce
**It doesn't have to be limited to just these... but something that would be more traumatic than just a simple breakup... Something that would make the male mc feel that they have lost the will to love or trust.**
The only manga I have read like this has been Otona Pink.
The only request I have is that the characters actually look like adults or high school students. Not like this -> My Wife Is a High School Student... I like art like this as well... but for this type of story I would rather have them look more... 'real'. I am okay with the girl to have the big shoujo eyes, I just don't want them to look like kids.
I am pretty new to the shoujo/josei/seinen demographic so name away... ^.^
Oh! The only type of manga that I don't read is Shoujo-ai and Yuri. Feel free to name any other types. However, if it is yaoi/shounen-ai.... I have probably already read it >.<
Thanks in advance!

Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan - I'm not sure if it fits what you're looking for but it's a good read anyway ^^

@wrensei ~ Thanks!! It looks really interesting and I will go ahead and start reading it. I really like the Mangaka that illustrated the manga, so I know that I will love the art
@nakie08 ~ from reading the summary of this manga, I can tell that it will be one that I like. Even though it isn't exactly what I was looking for, it still has a tragic theme ~ thanks much ^.^

I hope I give some good ones.
Hajimari no Niina It's a little too shoujo in the drawings, but it nice.
Meteor Methuselah Has action in it, so I'm not sure if ya mind that.
Kieli (Novel) I put the novel because the manga has only two volumes.
Mimizuku to Yoru no Ou (Novel) There is no manga for this, but it's really good, the only thing is they both have their set of problems.
I hope these are hopefully what you were wanting... I'm sorry their all Older male younger female.

Melo Holic -but its opposite of what you want, its the girl that has to get over the traumatic experience and its from the guys point of view, but the art is what you want, and it says its horror but its really not that bad.

Ane No Kekkon seems to fit although it is the female character who gives up on love.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's been hinted that she has given up on love due to past experience(s) but so far it has not been revealed exactly what happened in her previous relationship(s) that made her this way..
