I'm looking for manga with a character who's expressionless/has a scary face/has trouble communicating with others, but is actually has a personality that's sensitive or cute in some way. Either gender. Emotional stories. X3 Preferably one of the main characters, but if a minor character gets enough screentime and you think it's worth recommending, then go for it. ^^

I love romance manga with this type of character. Yaoi is loved, yuri is good, ecchi is okay, but I'm not much a fan of hentai. Every other genre is also good. =)

Examples are:
Bukiyou na Silent
Body Talk Paradox

Characters like Seiji in Midori no Hibi or Ryuuji in Toradora! are okay, but I prefer a more sensitive personality. X3

...Actually, I like sensitive personalities in general, so suggest those types as well, if you'd please. ^^;;

Not the emotional stuff I had in mind, but I like the comedy in this series. XD Thanks!

Tokio Crazy Paradise - male lead, he smiles like only 3-4 times the whole series. It's a good romantic comedy;
Karin - male lead has a scary face, but is actually a really nice guy;
Beast Master - very scary face, sweet guy;
Penguin Prince - scary girl, only the first oneshot fits your request, but the rest are not half bad either;

You might have read it, but Kimi wa Pet fits. There's a big gap between how the main character is perceived by others because of her public persona, and how she really is (for example, she cries pretty easily but would never show anyone that.)

Sora Log - the main male lead is perceived as scary and a delinquent by others, but actually got a really sensitive personality.
Freezing - the main female lead fits the bill.

I think Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! should fit pretty well. I haven't read it, but going by what everyone says, it sounds about right.

Because You Smile When I Sing is a very cute one-shot with a mostly silent protagonist whose face always looks angry to other people.

Stalker fits the bill exactly. Never seen a manhwa (or manga) with such an ugly, scary-looking main character that is still kind and sensitive. It also has a nice art, decent plot, and overall is just an enjoyable read.
