Unfortunately, I have yet to read those two works, but for something realistic (non-cliche and things are left to your imagination):
Switch (MOCHIZUKI Karin). You won't see romance up-front... but you see glimpses
Ten no Ryuu Chi no Sakura -- a supernatural element is thrown in. The art is very pretty (actually, the main male lead is very gorgeous).

josei/seinen category... so:
Hapi Mari -- smut warning in the later chapters though!! My guilty pleasure...
Chou yo Hana yo -- smut warning again... it's slapstick humor though!!
Midnight Secretary -- again... smut warning (wow... I'm starting to sound like a smut-freak)
Workplace romance:
Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume -- very adorable... I don't know if you call it "cute" art... but a very light, happy read... a slow romance...
