Hi there,
I have the bad habit of spoiling endings for myself because I hate sad endings and just now, I finished a certain anime which had its ending described as ambiguos - both main characters obviously died in the end...
Now I want some manga or anime that's got the - in your opinion - sweetest ending there is.
Something like "happily ever after" if it is a romance, all loose ends tied neatly together, not rushed etc...
Any genre is fine exept for yaoi and hentai ...
Looking forward to any suggestion.

rave master pretty good for shounen/romance, the ending actually quite happy
I"s good ending also though i dont know can it be classified as happy ever after, both protagonist do end up together and all things cleared up, try to judge it by yourself

Probably the best ending I've read.

if u're looking shoujo with happy ending, there's countless out there... but definition of sweet is pretty much ambiguous...

These are ''Harems'' though, so even though the main character ends up with the chick, there's always gonna be someone who gets "screwed".


Ane Doki! has what you would consider a "sweet ending", though I think the author rushed it.

I gotta say. No ending to a manga with romance elements has ever left me as satisfied as this one.

everything ties up neatly, and everyone is happy in the end


I'd like to add Gentlemen's Alliance Cross

it has great artwork, an interesting plotline, a romantic triangle, and a perfect ending. usually i am dissatisfied with the way love triangles play out, but in this one it's perfect. the end of the manga just makes you feel good inside, even though you have to endure a rocky road to get there.

not so much happily after but Shin Angyo Onshi

Girl friends I think it could have went on longer but the ending is still very sweet.
