I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bakuman. It's a pretty good series although it's been a while since I've read it. I might start reading it again soon.

I don't think that we'll see a manga that's as popular worldwide as those three for a few years.

Maybe and maybe not... even if nothing new of quality shows up, some fans will inevitably drift from one those three, if/when the end, towards some of the others mentioned or sth else altogether.

Beelzebub and Kami no mizo shiru sekai both look like they could be good contenders, but it's not like I want them to be.

it's lookin like Beelzebub is rising to popularity pretty damn fast. I wouldn't be surprised if that one became the next Naruto or Bleach.

I highly doubt that none WSJ titles would be able to replace the Trinity.
For Jump titles:
Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!
D. Gray Man
this two would definitely be the prime candidates
Others which might make in in the long run would be
Psyren
Nurarihyon no Mago
For none jump titles
Fairy Tail is totally smoking hot
Code Breaker
That's it!!!!

As good as Bakuman may be, I don't think the series is set to last as long as the big three. Perhaps it may be even shorter than DN :\

i just think kids might be looking forward to more action and maybe some fantasy.
i like bakuman alot too but i think only a select few would vote for it over a more action pact manga

This may be a little off topic but... what were the Big Three's predecessors?
I've only started to read more manga in this past couple of years... I remember Kenshin being popular as was Yu Gi Oh, Hikaru no Go, and Shaman King but I don't know if they drove sales as much as Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.
For better or worse, I dont' see the 3 ending soon --- maybe the'll be succeeded by entirely new manga or maybe nothing will take their place for years.
