Can't help with the suggestions, but surely there will be people who will do.

Hy! Well, you've found one right here! Let's see, suggestions....
Challengers & it's sequel The Tyrant Who Fall in Love are great series
Koori No Mamono No Monogatari is one of my absolute favourites
Silver Diamond, by the same author as Koori^
Time Lag, a really cute one-shot
Yatteranezee!, it's not really a lovey-dovey manga but it's still great!
And I'd recommend anything by Takanaga Hinako

Hey welcome!!!! Im a yaoi fangirl too and i hope ull have lots of fun with ur reading!!!
Well i have LOTS of recommendations, so first lets begin with classics and the must-read:
Love mode
Haru wo daite ita
Tsumasaki ni kiss
[m]Under ground hotel[/m] that one is really hard, so if u r still new, dont read it now...
Kaze no yukue this one i absolutely love
Viewfinder another classic
Picnic
Cut such a heart-breaking story...
and lots lots more!!!
But i prefer to recommend authors:
Yamada Yugi she's great and ALL her stories r wonderful and fun
Kunieda Saika
Fuwa shinri
Yamato Nase
Cj michalski
Oh well there r too much to quote!!
Anyway, what did u read until now??Is it hard yaoi? shouene-ai?

Hi (from one Yaoi fanatic to another )
As recommendations.. all of the above are good examples. I would also add as authors Miyamoto Kano, Fujiyama Hyouta, Masara Minase.
As for stories... Desire (by Honami Yukine), Honki ja Neekara (by Fujiyama Hyouta), Yume wo Miru Hima mo Nai (by Yamada Yugi), Not.Love (by Miyamoto Kano).
There are tones of good stories. Sample one or two from the authors given and get an idea of what you like. It will make it easier for people to give suggestions.
Enjoy your stay here! ^_^

Bienvenue~~
I only started reading yaoi, but I'd recommend Okane ga Nai. It's what got me actually interested in the genre.
Hope to see you around, so don't die on us!

Most popular series that Yaoi/Shounen-ai fans like is Junjou Romantica. [m]Crimsion Spell[/m].
Korean manga, manhwa that I think is alright would be Totally Captivated.

WoW,
You guys are so awesome!!!!!
I didn't expect this many replies in so short a time. waaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, I feel so welcome!!! hehehehe
Also, thanks a lot for those suggestions. Sad to say that I have read most of the series that was suggested. Hehehe!!! I haven't been very discriminatory in my yaoi selection in the past. I just read any yaoi that I could get my hand on, from mild shounen-ai to hardcore yaoi. Gravitation was what got me started in Yaoi. There were some series that I haven't seen before that I will definitely look into. I'm a bit more selective now, of course.
Graphics always come first for me and Plot a really close second!! hehehe. What are some of you guys' criteria for selecting a manga or a mangaka?
I also read a little of "The tyrant who fall in love" before it became licensed. I really, really, really, really, really (have i express my desire enough?) want to read "Challengers" but since it is licensed, I will have to wait until i'm not so broke to get it. hehehe.
Man...you guys have such great taste, most of those mangakas suggested are some of my favorite. Especially Yamane Ayano, Yamato Nase, and Naono Bohra (just to name a few) whose works I have thoroughly exhaust!!!! heheheh.
Currently, i'm working my way through all of Takanaga Hinako's works (about half-way done) and plan on reading Yamada Yugi's works next (at least those that I haven't read already, lol)
Sorry for this really long post, hehehe!! Happy Yaoi reading and here is some wine to go with it. CHEERS!!!
