I'm not in the mood for any love. So I'm interested in personal recommendations (that means no links to searches) on series that don't consist of romance whatsoever, so no episodic plots or romance subplots. Basically:
Open to and pleading for
Series with no romance visible in any sense
Recommended after having personally read it
Not looking for
Horror or intense gore
Graphic rape scenes
Episodic plot
Help a brother out please.

Noblesse...Action/Comedy/Fantasy---->>>A webcomic. ~So far no romance, although speculation among fans would think otherwise.

if you okay with some sports:
One Outs
Hikaru no Go
Giant Killing
those guys are too immersed with their game and have no time even for girls

Some of the following have a fair amount of violence, but I don't recall anything that would qualify as intense gore:
G (KOIKE Keiichi) - I'd recommend reading this series before reading "Lazaro Franco's Fourth Hour" (the related oneshot in Heaven's Door mentioned in the series description).
Tekkonkinkreet - if you like this series, you should check out other works by MATSUMOTO Taiyou; most of his series feature little to no romance. (This is probably the most violent of the series I've recommended; if you'd prefer nonviolent recommendations, try Ping Pong or Hanaotoko).
Legend of the Strongest Man, Kurosawa:
National Quiz - Hilarious series with wonderful art... it's been a while since I read it, so I may be forgetting some minor subplots, but I don't recall any sort of romance in the series...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I'm pretty sure that the protagonist goes on something of a double date, so it might not meet your qualifications of "no romance visible in any sense." Then again, it's only one failed date over the course of 11 volumes, and it doesn't develop into any sort of subplot.

Fantasm
Pretty sure it has no romance, from what I remember. And it's shoujo! Lookit that. It doesn't really seem like one, though.
