Shounen manga with romance (not ecchi)

Gonna be really specific here and ask for suggestions for a shounen series that has action and everything, but also some romance (no ecchi please).
For example, RuroKen, Tsubasa or Rave.
Any ideas?

Is there a shonen manga that has all those things, but no ecchi?
How important is the no ecchi rule?

Oooh. I like this topic. But is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles a shounen? I never knew that... -_-
Well, here.
Black Cat (I haven't read it, but I've heard there may be implied romance?)
Busou Renkin (It's Watsuki, what do you expect?)
Cocona (A cute oneshot from Mashima)
Detective Conan (In some cases...)
Eyeshield 21 (It's implied romance though. There's not much of romance... It's my favorite manga though.)
Kingdom Hearts (Not much interaction between the pair.)
Kingdom Hearts - Chain of Memories (Not much interaction between the pair.)
Kingdom Hearts 2 (Not much interaction between the pair.)
Marchen Awakens Romance (It's kinda in the title...)
Yamato Gensouki (I kinda like to think there is romance.)

basically shounen romance will have ecchi because it is for guys and guys like boobs and ass. It might not be panty shots but all shounen has a good looking girl with big boobs.

I'll second the Chrno Crusade suggestion. It's probably your best bet, if you haven't read it yet.

Check out Superior(action+romance), Immortal Regis(action and maybe romance in the future chapters.), and World Embryo(action and maybe romance in the future chapters.) and yeah from what I read, these titles have very little to none ecchi scenes
Edit: Just read the recent chapters of immortal regis and found out that it does have a bit more ecchi than the two title I mentioned above.
Well, shounen romance w/o ecchi is pretty hard, boys will be boys. and IMO ecchi ain't that disturbing as long as it's in moderation (but for me, excessive ain't that bad also 😛 ) good luck on your search!
Don't only look straight, look also to the sides, usually the essential isn't in front of you, but beside you.

Hmmm... ecchi just really gets on my nerves and distracts from a good story, imo. I suppose I don't mind a little bit, as long as it's not too often and not too stupid. (I can't think of any examples right now, just shows you how little tolerance I have ^^')
From what I've seen ecchi implies silliness, and there's only so much silliness I can stand. I like my shounen with substance, if you get me.
As for romance, I don't mind if there's only a little bit scattered amongst the action, as long as there is a definite couple, and not just implications all the way to the end.
And yeah I've read Chrno Crusade and really liked it. I cried at the end lol. First and only manga that I've cried at.
I remember an example now. I didn't mind the amount of ecchi in Mahoromatic.
I mean, has there ever been a shounen manga with a deep loving relationship? I've heard Angel Densetsu has a central romance.
If there's a good one out there that you think is worth reading but it contains ecchi, mention it anyway, I'll check it out (as long as it's not by the Love Hina guy)
edit: I only was able to stand Mahoro cause the guy was sweet...

I recomend Detective Conan.... there are some cute parts but not that often. its mostly action(murder investigations, disappearences, and such). Kekkaishi is aslo a cute one althought the girl does not like him he does and there is alot of action. for I guess more romance suzuka then although I just started and haven't actually gotten very far... 🤣 😃

I third Chrno Crusade! ...Oh, wait, you've read it. Heh, it made me cry too.
If you liked CC, then you'll probably also like Immortal Rain.
There's also Blade of the Immortal, though romance is a little more...one-sided?
If you squint or use fangirl-vision, there's romance in:
King of Thorns
Trinity Blood - not sure whether this is shounen/shoujo...
World Embryo No ecchi, but quite a bit of fanservice. Doesn't really detract from overall plot though.
Full Metal Panic!- kinda fan-servicy. More annoying here, but the story is still pretty funny.
...and not just implications all the way to the end.
Ok, Edit time.
Unfinished but with only hinted romance.
Mieru Hito
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - Umm. Kind...of? Well, I really support the two protagonists together, anyway.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Blood+
Eyeshield 21 - though those 'hints' get very near 'obvious' at times. As in, put into dialogue but not quite straight-out. Very good manga anyway, just keep reading.
