I think its still a good manga even with its constant repetition of the plot. I guess the only reason I keep reading it now is to see just how it would end, how strong Inuyasha can become and just how cowardly the nemesis is. I recommend this for those who like a bit of gore but not in a serious tone. The art is good and comical at times, with the plot progress even sluggish through certain period but don't let that throw you off. Its a good manga once you get into it, and although there are indeed better manga out there, you will eventually run out of them and come to this.

This series is simultaneously enthralling and enraging. On one hand, the characters are far from the usual Mary-Sues, the artwork is delightful, and the plot is loaded with little complications and twists. On the other hand, it appears as if it will never finish, and by the 400th chapter it's a bit repetitious. Characters fight bad guys, bad guys and characters level up, repeat. It's addicting enough for me to keep going though!

Well, I'vre ready many different mangas over the years, spanning quite a few genre's. When I think about it, I feel that Inuyasha is way too overhyped. Even for children, it is a horrible manga. There are many much better manga's that can be read, such as Cross Game and Air Gear to name a few.

Cool manga with awesome plot. I love it! But it does seem to be a never ending story. Still it's a great shounen and slight shoujo story.

It's a never-ending repitition of the characters failing, but getting evercloser to the unclear main goal.
