The plot isreally interesting and exciting I couldn't stop reading it until the end! the main characters Sheila and the hero Exa are very likeable and the have development, the side characters not sooo much though. The manga had a great mix of action, fantasy and romance. I loved it.

I honestly like this manga, I will say that the first couple of chapters feel a little rushed, and could have been presented better, but all in all it is a good read. I am glad there is a Sequel to it because the ending solved nothing.

What happens when the hero and last boss team up...

You know how in the good ol'days where you had a hero, (say link) and a super baddie (say ganondorf), and it used to be simple hero fights a whole bunch of baddies to take down the final boss. Well now you got the hero and the final boss on a team, doesn't seem fair but for which side, this twist changes perspective on what is good and bad making this manga unique or the start of something new. For that reason I love it..

This is a shoujo. This is about a girl and her girly dilemas, like her relationship with the good looking hero and getting to know love and feelings and things like that. There is also a bishounen sidekick swordsman, bishounen king and etc. All the things the girls love and the majority of boys do not like. And if I had to judge it by the art, I'd definitely say that this is a shoujo. This is not deep, there are cliche and shallow moral questioning all around.

I never really liked any shoujo I've read throu these 10 years of reading manga, so I won't rate it because this wasn't made for me.

First of all I want to apologize for my english . I recognize this manga has a great plot concept and I think a male oriented version could be a great hit . I tryed out of boredon to read some josei and shoujo before and got to de conclusión that the gender separatión in manga is meaningfull cause I wasn´t able to enjoy it, same happens with this manga. In seinen or shounen the male reader can find some weakness in the hero so he can identify himself with this character meanwhile the female characters are just a fantasy , in this manga we find a perfect guy .... annoying. I can only conclude this is a shoujo disguissed , even so I recognize a good job but this is not for me.

I LOVE THIS.
I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS.

Just...

GAH
Absolutely spectacular.
It's the best manga I've read. Seriously.
This is the BEST adventure/monster/subtle-but-FANTASTIC-romance/fighting manga ever.
It uses BOTH the views of Sheila and the Hero. But the mangaka does it subtly, so the whole story is smooth and a great read.

* AMAZING ART. I DROOL OVER IT EVERYTIME. ^^ It's so pretty, and unique<33
* AMAZING CHARACTERS ( OMG. OMG. I LOVE THEM They're all so deep, and realistic csmile
*AMAZING PLOT LINE (CLICHE!?!? NEVER! biggrin This has so many twists, it's SO COOL )
* Absoluetely UNPREDICTABLE. (you'll hardly guess anything right. seriously. XD i never did)

It's just,... amazing.
o_o For those who gave it bad ratings, they're deprived.
Eh, to bad for them.

BUT YOU.

yes, YOU.

YOU AREN'T DEPRIVED. biggrin

SO READ IT<3333

Really, the reason it got bad ratings was probably the fact that they couldn't take all the action.
o_o it is so good. It has literally EVERYTHING you could want in a manga.
Love, Sweet characters, badass characters, unpredictable ness, a plot line worth reading, deep characters, characters you thought you knew but ended up being like WHAT HOLLY SKDJFLS!?!, etc.

I could go on.
and on.
and on.

But I won't .
c: I'll just let you read it, and see how
awesome it is.

Have fun

R E A D I N G !!!! <####333 (cough cough * READ IT NOW * cough cough)
xD

( Also, for those who finish these scans, look up Superior Cross. c: It's where the stories continues!!! *EEEK* (heh , and it's got all purrrrfect 10's ^^ I'd give this whole series a 19 biggrin! )

Wow, I'm surprised I even remembered I read this. The idea is pretty good, but the art and the storyline are so hectic, you just want to get through one chapter without feeling totally confused, and then it feels as though you've accomplished something. I usually look at mangas and ask myself if I would like them as animes as well, and this story is so NOT something I would even bother watching. You have been forewarned. I really can't even believe peopel spent hours of labor scanlating this.

Honestly, I don't actually know why I gave this manga such a high rating. The art isn't that great. The panelling and storyboard is subpar. Events jump from here to there with no clear timeline. There are deus ex machina by the score, the scanlation isn't all that great, and the first few chapters especially are really awful.

But I liked it. I really liked it. Somehow in the midst of all of that, it managed to pull off a sweet, touching story with likable and distinct characters, a steadily developing romance, and a decent plot. I don't know how it did it, but it did. Strangest thing ever.

(I do have to say, though, that Superior Cross, the sequel, is far... er, superior. To Superior. It was worth reading the prequel to be able to read the sequel.)

Well at first I thought the art is a bit horrible but as I went on reading it, it didn't matter anymore for me. A demon king and a hero is one typical fantasy-based theme and it's not all so bad.
Love is sudden and applied to every living being, it can even make people lose their first goal by falling in love (at least in manga). But the love here was one of the main problem which made this manga got a bad impression. The development of the romance between the protagonists were too quick. Yes, the demon king fell in love too easily with the hero although the reason of her fell in love with him was make sense but it's all just.....too soon.
About the hero being like that, well it's not all so bad. Well, there are so many manga with hypocrite protagonist and this manga is just one of them but with a greater hypocrite reason. It still make sense that the hero want everyone (including the monster) to live together and understand each other (like how a recent gu**** series in anime) as this is a hero we're talking not the demon king, to add it all it could be happened because in this case the monsters could even think and talk and not just saying un-understandable language.
Overall, I think this is not so bad but not too good manga. I just like this manga because I'm searching for a strong protagonist both the male and the female. It's just too boring to see many mangas with idiotic protagonist but still being hypocrite. *sigh*

I just love Hero. He is so righteous all the time! I kind of wish whats-her-name (the girl with the blond hair...Crow's sister) would JUST GO AWAY. But she is important now... grr.
I guess what I like most about this manga is how...AWESOME (!!!) it is. The main plot is easy to follow, there is a nice sense of impending emotional doom, I love the art (especially Mr Fanservice Personified Lakshri! Lol), and an overall great LONG read! (seriously, some chapters could qualify as volumes.)

Also, sure Sheila/Sira/Sheyla/whatever falls in love REALLY quickly, but she seems to be one of those people who is constantly looking inside herself. Basically, she is the type who notices she is in love in the first few chapters. I, for one, VASTLY prefer this to the type that doesn't figure it out until the 7th volume and spends the final 15 second guessing her 'true love'.
