Hmm, surprisingly refreshing. I mean, there must have been a lot of stories like this, right? But for some reason THIS one feels so new and fresh. I'm not sure why.
And the best part is that I even like both the main characters, they're both just interesting and odd characters at the same time.
I'd say you should check it out whether you like or don't like shoujo and whether you're a girl or guy.

I have to admit, this webtoon isn't the best for me. I did plan to drop, but the fact that the webtoon is still ongoing and I yet to see a happily ever after kept me anticipating ever Saturday.
At first, I thought that this would be a short webtoon with a quick romance, but I was wrong. This sure has a SLOW romance. However, the fact that I was wrong makes me happy. At least this isn't some cliche manga/webtoon, with a quick happy ending.
Really hope to see what happens next. Hopefully the webtoon will get better and some of the minor cliche stuff will come to an end.

whit the arrival of a fiancé, this romance between a female vampire and human (clasic couple), turn´s out to be a Love triangle where the girl will have to chose between the race or love.
Whit this last turn the path´s are clear so the only doubt is who she will choose I pray for the human boy.
Even whit all this turn´s past´s and future´s is a excelent manhwa whit an unique combination of clasic and deep feeling´s arroud vampire´s, furthermore add the complex young girl and tsundere act, isn´t a 10 but is definitely at least a 9

I signed up here just so I could give this a 10. It absolutely amazing, the plot, the art, the characters, the everything. I guess one of the main reasons is that the author is a guy and he avoids all the cheesy drama part of the shoujo manga. So thumbs up!!
Astounding!

Orange Marmalade is a very addicting manga that has twists and turns everywhere. Each time at the end of a new chapter, there's always a cliffhanger at the end of each chapter that will make you taste for more. The characters, in my opinion, are very different and have different situations. Also, it is very rare that you see a main female vampire character; the male vampires are always dominant.
I'm so glad that the mangaka didn't add anything that might have made the vampires less appealing - like supernatural powers, or burning at the very sight of sunlight. At this rate, fans will be standing outside of the mangaka's very house, yelling for chapters to rush through faster and immediately.

I'd say.. the first manga about vampires I liked

Why do I recommend this manga?
1. The art - it's very enjoyable. Not only full color, but the way artist uses highlights, shows tree shadows etc. - it makes one's eyes rest.
2. You know, I'm fond of shy characters that hide feelings and expose them rarely but heartily.
Unfortunately, I can't stand when they act stupid (running away, retire into one's shell etc), that just irritates me so much that I drop series.
Thanks to author there's no such stuff.
The thing about slow pace.. now they mentioned it I noticed.. yes, storyline develops a little slow,
but somehow it didn't make me bore?
Now the progress is up to 35 ch, and I'm strongly into it!!

I'm a guy that rarely reads shoujo. This is the third shoujo story I've ever read, and it is so good. It is really hard to find stories where the female is the vampire and the male is human. I reccomend this to anyone who is interested is romance stories.
Such a slow pace...how refreshing

This is the story that got me into webtoons. The characters are great, the art is simply amazing, and the plot (although heavy in its discrimination message) isnt overbearing and quite enjoyable. But the thing that truly ties this together is how slow and consistent the plot moves. It gives plenty of time to develop character relationships and allow for real reactions with real emotion. You come to know and enjoy these characters so when they have their problems you truly feel for them. I believe that an enjoyable story needs only enjoyable characters and this proves it. If the ending ties everything together as well as it has developed it so far, which i have no doubt it will, this will become a must read for anyone who enjoys to read. i rated it a 9/10 (simply cause i dont rate 10/10 until the story worthy of that is complete)
Not what you expect...in a VERY good way!

Anytime people hear mention of vampires in a story they're usually turned off (blame twilight), but don't let this deter you from this series! It's really amazing! I read a lot of manga/manhwa, but this is one of the few that I actually get really excited when I see it's updated. (also very happy that this happens once a week! <3)
I started this thinking it would be a typical shoujo +vampires, but I was happily deceived. The characters are all nicely developed, the art is beautiful, the romance is cute/enjoyable, and the plot is not cliche shoujo by any means. It doesn't just revolve around the boy chasing the girl, that's just one part of the whole story. In fact, as of ch 25 or so, it's started to get quite deep into themes involving prejudice. The emotions of the characters, especially Ma Ri, are expressed so wonderfully that I want to laugh and cry along with them (and I'm not one to cry while reading shoujo).
I would say the only drawback is plot development is a little slow, but it's similar to Kimi ni Todoke in that way. The slowness isn't really irritating and is necessary to form a well rounded story and proper characters. Nothing is one-dimensional.
Definitely read this series!!!
