Gave it a 4 because the beginning is good.
But the farther the story goes(is there even a story now?), the less good it becomes.

The first volumes have really good character development, art and story. It gives you the feeling of wanting to know what happens next.
But the longer it gets, the less you're interested, things just keep repeating and it gets boring to read.

If you haven't read it, don't read it. Unless you only read the first volumes.
Reading 50+ volumes takes allot of time, and beleave me, it's not like the last volumes are worth reading.

took me a while to catch up to all chpt from the beginning.....
but yeah, i guess its worth my time since i enjoy it a lot.

so what if they haven't beat naraku. I think naraku is what makes this manga great. when naraku dies the manga will die. this is the 1st manga i read the villian doesn't die until the end. naraku kicks azz. this manga has been funny sad and thrilling at the same time and will be upset to see it end (sry about my choice of words). If the manga kept ongoing without naraku i don't think i'd read. So you ppl know nothing!!! The reason you keep reading is becuz of the final battle. why be so quick to see this end. when i read about the final battle even tho it's not really the final battle I be like man and they were so close. It makes us wonder how will they beat naraku? what will they do? We won't know until the end. And I hope that never comes.

I pity the poor person who is or are currently buying the volumes. The story is ok, but THANK GOODNESS it's finally ending! If you've seen most of the anime and read some of the manga, I STRONGLY advise you not to read the entire series (unless you want to) and skip to around chapter 520. Trust most of us here, you're not missing much. So just skip to the final battle (at least it looks like it's the final one at 532), everything else is just repetative.

What a waste!!! it could've been much better if Naruku died long time ago and if there was a development in the characters. the relationship between inuyasha and kagomi is the same from Vol.1 till the recent Chpts??!!.So BOOOOOOORING >_<

I read this when I'm waiting for updates for my favorite mangas... =P

When I first read Inuyasha, I was completely hooked. It was my first manga and the storyline was so good and the jokes were so funny but now..its like @_@ soo..sooo long...Seriously, Naraku must be immortal now if they still haven't killed him in like 400 chapters *-_-
When Inuyasha ends ( which is hopefully before I die) I'll just read like the last battle and that is it. Those 300 chapters that I skipped probably didn't show much progress in the battle (or in the love triangle) anyway. >.<

The concept of Inuyasha is somewhat unique and could've been really well had it been less redundant and if her art was better (really now, 50+ and you'd think there'd be SOME improvements...)

But...this isn't a bad series....yet it's not a good one either. I'd give it a one but I picked up this series again (I've only read the 1st volume and scanned/skimmed everything else...the plot became so linear that I knew I wasn't missing much) just because I just need to know HOW this series is going to end. (Curse you curiosity!) So I give Inuyasha a 2 out of 10...

around a whopping 55 volumes so far, and it seems like it's finally starting to come to a close. If this is truly the final arc, i predict somethin of about 5 volumes that describe the fight with naraku in excruciating detail,after this will be 1 or 2 volumes of epilogue. If the author of this truly continues with the series with naraku miraculously escaping into the clouds after all the side characters dying/ going away, and all that tension buildup... well then, im jus pissed.

this is a much more waste of time than DBZ lol hell ,even detective conan is better than this (even though i love detective conan lol....'>>)
