I'm giving it a 10 and that says a lot, because let's face it a lot of manga's are not that good.

I have a law against giving a 10, because nothings perfect and truthfully this isn't either it's all around a 9...

BUT the thing is that the adult stuff was an "extra" thing and it was good and well intertwined with the story.

Mio-chan can be relatable, and her brother reminds me of Ayu [from The Story of Ayu]. The prince is like anyother prince in a story. And recently [as of Oct. 25th, 2006], there has a been a bit of shounen-ai and yaoi. Which very much interest me, oh and the smut. Must comment on the smut of the story.

Desire Climax, sure the name sounds erotic, but Mio is not the type to give it all away, and she makes the prince work for it. There are explicit scenes, of course, but nothing of the matter that your thinking.

Provocatively funny! I love it!

this manga is great! And compared to hot gimmick the male character is like an angel!

Desire climax has been on my to read list for a long time. I kept stalling cuz I felt id read too many master servant type stories. I finally started reading it and to be honest im confused. I dont get the freaking glasses part. At first I thought it was kinda cute but its too repetitive. Overall the story seems very weak. It couldve been so much better. And Mio is too weak. I mean she hates the guy and suddenly she loves him. For so many years shes been seeing the 'Prince' and yet she never remembered but one day it suddenly comes to her, like what?
The story feels like a really cheap version of the kdrama Kill me Heal me without the DID of course
I wish Mio were a little more stronger. I wouldve probably bothered to finish to series then

All things considered, this was a pretty good well written story of drama. The story was threaded in a way that kept me going as long. This only worked for me since I didn't get myself too worked up over the excessive sexual harassment scenes as being offensive but part of the melodrama. I actually tried reading this manga before multiples but it was the sexual harassment that stopped me in my tracks every time except this time when I finally read it to the end. Getting passed that exposed me to a relatively good story. However, the incident regarding the little brother ends a bit forcefully in my opinion; like it never happened.

I remember reading this manga a long time ago...about 2-3 years ago? Though I thought it was called million dollar girl,(Totally different managa lol) So my review may be a little rusty, but I remember the main point of it. Basically poor girl meets rich boy and he throws money at her, takes her with him to live in his ridicously rich mansion as a maid I believe. He keeps pulling advances on her and she very SUBTLY refuses him. She slowly regains her memories which she has lost that were all about him. And voila they are in love! and of course a whole bunch of other crap ensues to tear them apart. This manga was REALLY good I mean it got pretty mediocre at some points, especially with the antagonists. But the romance was sweet, the designs were amazing, the couple were beautifully drawn. I just loved when the prince took of his glasses! lol It had a pretty good ending and left you either feeling satisfied or wanting more. I really recommend this!

...it went downhill after a few chapters. The first part about the Prince buying Mio and then it turns out they're childhood friends are okay but after that, the story becomes confusing and doesn't even make any sense anymore. It keeps jumping from one issue to another without letting that part develop more or for the characters to grow. In short, It. Doesn't. Make. Any. Sense. Until. The. End. I finished the story because of the smut, art and just for the sake of finishing it. Other than that...meh.

i totaaaally agree with the prince thing. it seemed kind of degrading to mio.. (eh, she asked for it.) plus it distracted me from the story xD
it had it's ups and downs. yes, the twists were nice. yes, the smut was good. ... yes. her brother was so cute and mischevious~!

i didn't like the guy. i mean, i liked him at points, but his arrogance and just.. it was dumb. and even if he was "heartbroken", how could he go around being nasty and cold to mio and ..

oh well. it was smut. it had guys competing and jealousy. i was somewhat satisfied. :]

unfortunately for me I have this desire to finish what I start and thus should never have bothered to read this in the first place. this manga is mediocrity, there are so many better mangas out there that I wouldnt waste your time unless you desperate for something to read.

tho when people say "rape rape rape" is not actually correct, unless you count to many unwanted boob grabs and leg kisses as rape.they have sex like 3 times and all times are definately consential. she never actually gets raped unless her first kiss getting taken away counts?

The drama was rediculous and totally stretched and its just all over the place bad. the ending is ok tho which was the only redeeming thing about the manga.

when you read it this manga this will come to mind "stop fu***^%$##$$#$#%$#%^ing calling him prince all the time....... OMG......."
