Have you tried Suzuka? I know it's shounen but it's really good, and the ecchi is only thrown in till the plot develops.
I don't that read many shoujos so I wouldn't know any in that genre.

Teacher accidentally knocking up his own student. They ended up getting married. The manga tells the perspective of the teacher about his wife and son. Made my heart melt....
Especially the flashback of how William parents meet and their marriage life in the rich society. Kelly's story about her memories with her late husband in the Crystal palace also made me cry because he DIED SO YOUNG!!!
