too calm actually as it gets him in trouble with his love interest sometimes who thinks he isn't as emotional/loving as he actually is, and he's definitely a bookworm (he's a teacher and also reads recreationally), and has a troubled past with a really messed-up ex (which initially made him even more guarded until this current love interest warmed his heart). He's a very sweet and chivalrous guy but with that stoic exterior that makes him appear unmoved most of the time.
