Saver - not much magic but definitely fantasy and action with a kick-ass heroine
Fairy Tail - same mangaka as rave master
Superior - well, the girl is more like the demon king but it's told from her perspective mostly
1/2 Prince - the protagonist is female in reality but male in virtual reality
Bara no Maria - a sword-wielding heroine, I believe
Hatenkou Yuugi - this one is kind of old (from the 90s), but pretty good
Immortal Rain - told from a bounty hunter girl's perspective
Shut Hell - I'm still a little hesitant to put a gender label on our protagonist - it's a guy in modern day but apparently in past life he was a girl
Soul Eater - it's got a whole new take on shinigami and witches and a pretty funky art style
Shitateya Koubou - Artelier Collection - for some reason reminds me of Soul Eater, even though the characters in here all have pretty item-specific powers (i.e. power to manipulate cloth, power to manipulate bubbles, etc.)

"Ubel Blatt"=awesome adventure action fantasy manga with badass main character but its mature
