I'm looking for scanlated adaptations of Victorian novels, OR original manga but with a Victorian setting.
These are stuff that I already know:
Emma
Count Cain
Basil (not scanlated, unfortunately)
And even though it's not set in V.England:
Song of wind and trees
BL twists and incest will be welcomed with open arms, as they define Victorian so well!
Just no hentai, please!

Shirley
D.Gray-man
Hadashi de Bara wo Fume
Neji to Lantern
Zankoku na Douwatachi
Bradherley no Basha - You might want to be careful with this. I haven't read it, but I've heard people say it's incredibly disturbing...though in what way, I don't know.
And, even though they haven't been scanned, Under the Rose - Haru no Sanka and Tsukinode wo Matte and its sequels are also exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! A lot of these titles seem interesting.
Calstine, under the rose looks impressive!...Gorgeous at the very least. Not scanlated though, such a pity.

I know, right? None of the interesting josei out there ever seem to get scanned!
I can always tell you where to find the raws if you like, but since there's no furigana, even I can't read them. T_T

They are not set in England though:
Ikoku Meiro no Croisée
Naki Shoujo no Tame no Pavane (set in early 20th century)
Gosick is also set in early 20th century.

I wish! Can't read, japanese, and just looking at the pretty pictures torments me (tried it with Tomoi ) Speaking of, how's it going with Hi Izuru?

How about A*D - Tenshi no Uso? smile
LOVE! I don't know how I could forget it in my post, but her art is sooo gorgeous, and her dialogues are to die for.
The only thing that bothers me about Aki's writing, both here and in Olimpus (and this could just be me bitching), is that she can't build an interesting plot to save her life. It's all like "we stroll VERY VERY SLOWLY from point A to point B, or even better, just stay where we ARE.
Sometimes it works. But sometimes it doesn't, and then it's just meh.
Base_coat and ShadowSakura- They look intriguing, I'll have a look

Haha, true! But the art makes up for it, so I still read 'em.
