I liked Death Note and loved Liar Game, so for my next manga, I wanted something with mystery and psychology and strategy.

I did an advanced search, and most of the manga on this list looked good, but I was wondering what you all would suggest. I think I want to try Monster, but I don't know how much strategical thinking it has . . .

Any other suggestions you have are also welcome. Thanks.

Monster is not particularly strategical, but it has amazing character development. Definitely worth giving a try, but it doesn't completely fit that niche.

Bloody Monday Not on the same level of strategical thinking, but it is present nonetheless.

If you want to give eroge a try, then G-Senjou no Maou.

One Outs By the author of Liar Game.

"Strategical" sounds absolutely asinine, but technically it's acceptable in certain situations in American English. Stupid but true.

what about Code Geass? - the anime is better (by a mile) I really recommend you watch the anime
similar in a way to Death Note except..I can't tell you it'll be a spoiler.

Strategical is an adjective, thinking (in this case) is a noun. Nothing wrong with saying strategical thinking. And I happen to think it doesn't sound asinine at all, thank you very much. Using the word asinine in an online forum sounds much more 'asinine'. (jk, I don't really care)

@sweetnsour321
I started the Code Geass anime a while back, but couldn't really get into it. Spoil it or don't spoil it, but maybe you describe what aspects you think I might like? Thanks, cause I'm up for checking it out again.

Edit:
@2AugustEZ
Thanks. This one looked interesting.

Well I watched a third of the first season and got bored
so I decide to try the second and that got me hooked
It reminded me of DN except for the extreme extreme measures that light took.
The ending was better than dn ending in my opinion, because everything Lelouch
Spoiler (highlight to view)
did was part of his plan, all the way to the end. Purposely glorifying zero/etc not sure if this is a spoiler but I didn't want to give you the ending lol. when you see the ending you'll understand all these things lelouch did was for a specific reason, it followed his plan. It left me flabbergasted(the ending) (and somewhat sad if you know what happens to him) after I realized that every single thing he did was 'part' of the plan(the ending)

(The first season didn't really grab my interest the second one did. ) truthfully I think he was smarter than light in a way.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
since lelouch "won" in a way, he got what he wanted/his plan worked even if...

Strategical is the adjective derivative of strategic in American English (which I normally do not use.)
It appears I have been going to an American School for too long.

Forgive me.

You want Fukumoto Nobuyuki.

Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji is especially good, and very similar to Liar Game. The first story arc isn't translated, but there is a very decent anime adaption which is. All his other manga are great too.

I agree that Monster, despite being an awesome manga, doesn't fit the concept of strategical thinking. I think Pluto or 20th century boys (especially the first one) fit more that concept if you really want to read a Naoki Urasawa's work. From that list you posted I'd probably pick Spiral over anything else (but I didn't read them all).
Code Geass is just plain dumb so give up on that, it entirely relies on a Deus ex machina concept that many people fail to see since they're distracted by all the nice girls and the mecha action... for a good recent anime I'd suggest something like Higashi no Eden instead.

Just some small suggestions not present on the list:
Detective Academy Q
Iris Zero don't let its "appearance" fool you

PS: Just a FYI, I think both Death Note and Liar Game are mediocre works in this genre, so our tastes can probably differ a lot. So maybe you should also try a work like Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (another popular work that I pair up with the other two) than what I suggested. Up to you, hope this could be of little help.

If you like anime you should definitely watch Code Geass
About manga i would suggest Initial D if you like it`s theme, very strategic i believe
