So i'm the kind of girl who reads ton of shoujo, Josei, Smut, Shounen Ai and yaoi, (also a bit of shoujo-ai and yuri)

And i'm willing to try some of the other genres. Well mainly Seinen.
I've read like maybe a chapter of a manga labeled seinen.. and either got bored or was like WTF..

The only seinen i have ever read was BLOOD ALONE only a couple of chapters.. but i kinda loved it smile the only thing was being a total shoujo girl i was KISS KISS KISS KISS KISS!!! I'm very impatient.. and i was scared that they may not end up together.. (The couple has to end up together)

Their was also Remote which i LOVED (no idea why but prob cause the guy was hot!)

so heres my request..
if your like me (total shoujo fan) or someone who knows what i might like... recommend me a seinen manag!
(btw i'm not the cheesy shoujo type i like more mature shoujo)
i don't like echii, actually i hate it, but in Remote i was 100% okay with it..

and the lead guy has to be hot,
also i tend to like it when the protagonist is a girl..

Please help this useless girl?

Well, I mostly read shoujo and josei, and here are some seinen I like.

Haruka 17
All of MORI Kaoru's works: Emma, Emma Bangaihen, Otoyome-gatari, etc.
Ai-Ren: it has some ecchi, and I hate ecchi, but it's a really profound romance, so I didn't mind.
Chobits: one of my first manga. I thought it was a shoujo, that's why I bought it, but I still loved it.
Any seinen by SAHARA Mizu: Bus Hashiru, Hoshi no Koe, Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan... she's a great author, her other genre manga are great as well.
Koi Kaze if you don't mind the incest (actual incest, not "oh we're not really related")
Onani Master Kurosawa: don't be put off by subject matter, it is one of the most profound manga, and most interesting romances, I've ever read.

(edit: oh, ninja'd on the SAHARA Mizu one, oh well.

Chocolat (KUBONOUCHI Eisaku)
Addicted to Curry
Spice & Wolf
My Girlfriend, The Ultimate Weapon
The Voices of a Distant Star (second)
Jinbe
Emma (second)

Onani Master Kurosawa is a goddamned masterpiece...
Even if it doesn't have a hot guy, if you haven't read this, it is a necessity.

Mori Kaoru is nice, although I'm not crazy about the art.

Chobits...I liked it, but well you'd just have to read it. ; )

To my shame, I haven't read the other suggestions except for Koi Kaze, but yeah, that's not a handsome male lead right thar.

uhmm.... Otome Youkai Zakuro? bigrazz lololololol... it's shoujo-esque art but it's published in a seinen magazine. ^^ You can try the anime since it's ahead of scanlations at the moment.

I'm gonna recommend some anime forms just because... I encountered these works that way:
Spice and Wolf is excellent. I know... it's dialogue heavy (and it's early mercantilism...), but the character interactions are awesome!! There's some heavy flirting/teases going on. Gaaah... ♥ (dang, I got beat by Toto)

House of Five Leaves was pretty good in my opinion... there's no romance (but it's kinda subtexty... or maybe that's just me). ♥ bromance. The art is endearing...

Hanamaru Kindergarten - I seriously cannot believe that this is seinen. It's too adorable... and it's so funny!!

Ahhhh!! I totally second YUMEKA Sumomo (aka SAHARA Mizu). She's awesome.
And I second Emma (which reminds me, I should try to finish reading that soon).

Hey, so I searched seinen on my lists and here's what came up that I particularly like, which matches at least somewhat your other criteria.

Reading List

Iris Zero Already one of my favourite mangas, good-looking male lead and love interest
My Girl Not romance, but very cute story
Until Death Do Us Part Great art, kick-ass characters and action

Complete List:

Break Hands
Hoshi no Samidare This one was an unexpected and very pleasing find for me
The Hour of the Mice
Sukimasuki Very quirky, but interesting.
xxxHolic <3
Bitter Virgin
Densha Otoko

Arcana Soul
Cesare
Drug-on
Eternal Sabbath
Gisele Alain
Hinata no Ookami
Hitsuji no Uta
Momonchi
Mouryou no Hako
Taimashin

Not all are romance, but they all have good-looking male leads, depending on your taste in art.

I totally second Otome Youkai Zakuro, Arcana Soul, Otoyome-gatari and Chocolat (KUBONOUCHI Eisaku)!

I'm more of a shoujo/BL reader too, but here are some romantic(?) seinen I've enjoyed:

China Girl
Junketsu no Maria
Genshiken
Houzuki-san Chi no Aneki (<== personally, I'm not really a big fan of ecchi either, but thought this one was so cute and funny~)
Nicoichi
Witchcraft Works
Sekainohate de Aimashou
Fujoshi Rumi
Gaki no Koro kara
Hourou Musuko
Mel Kano
Boku to Watashi no Henai Jijou
Kanaete Aizen
Allumage
Fudanshism
and I guess any one of the many Desha Otoko series? bigrazz

So i just read Onani Master Kurosawa and the art was good, and i did find the guy kinda hot ^^ (Long hair guys rule)
The only thing was that is was hard to get past the masturbating thing... it was like kinda disturbing for me the way he thought of those girls. (while masturbating)
Over all i did like the story but would have liked more romance biggrin

Otome Youkai Zakuro i have already watched the anime, it was cute.. but it was total shoujo.. it was soo predictable

i've already read EVERYTHING from the author [a]SAHARA Mizu[/a] smile

Arcana (KOTEGAWA Yua) - does it have romance?

Otoyome-gatari i've read some of it and found it interesting, but it didn't make me squeal xD and also i didn't like Emma the anime or the manga, it was boring and i didn't like the art

I've been thinking of reading Chocolat (KUBONOUCHI Eisaku) for a while but its not fully scaned sad
Koi Kaze i have looked at it before but i didn't the the main lead guy

Chobits - i've heard a little bit of this anime from people, i may try it.. if someone says it the best manga they have ever read xD

Ai-Ren - tragedy genres scare me sad

I'll add some short stories too....
Always Together
Present
Happiness

I've read them all thanks ^^
